Well made and attractive
Had to mount this a little higher than I wanted to because of the middle vertical mounting bracket. But it does the job an awning is intended to do. Because it’s transparent light is not blocked and from the inside it’s bright. It is well designed and the white color blends in. Assembly is a bit time consuming. You need two people to hold it in place while bolting it. Very happy and recommend it.

Very sturdy once up and ya need 2 people. No real good instructions
Not very good instructions. You should have two people to install since its pretty flimsey before you bolt it in. The 80" was not quite 80" and it didnt come with all the screws. I recommend using packing tape to hold it together since the awning part tends to slide a bit and its in 2 peices with a plastic joiner in the middle . Once up theyre very sturdy and weve had some strong winds. Theyre doing exactly what was needed to keep the rain from the window and door wells and they look pretty good. I recommend making a cardboard template to level and drill the mounting holes . There are no instructions to what size holes to drill as the bolts are like a molly bolts that exoands as you thread the bolt into the sleeve. I had to make wedge type brackets to keep them plumb but its because I have a mansard roof thats on an angle, not a typical install. All in all they look good and are doing the trick. I bought 2- 40" and 2 -80"

Surprised how nice this looks and work at this price point!
It took a little perseverance to put this together, but the end result was well worth it! Looks great and I'm very pleased with the ease of installation. One tip, is to be sure to hang it high enough for the clearance of the door when fully opened with the curvature of the awning. Very pleased and would buy one again.

Cheaply Made, Hard to assemble. Not worth buying.
The panels are cheap corrugated plastic with the color (white) being just a layer of colored sticky film. When unpacking and removing the packing tape, several areas of the white film peeled off!! When installing the rails, again several areas of the white film peeled off.The screws have to be set in a recessed area. Impossible to due without a magnetic bit, except these screws are non-magnetic (Probably cheap aluminum). Assembly very difficult, and parts didn't line up properly. There is no way to insert the screws in the center support on both sides. Poor design.Instructions are useless. Just a one page diagram, no wording.I will suffer thru with it, its just for a shed to keep rain off the door. I will be surprised if the cheap plastic lasts 1 year. OVERALL A STRONG NO-BUY ON THIS ONE.

Works well
Looks great and does the trick. Materials are a bit cheap but I still really like it over my side door.

Nice looking shade
The product seems flimsy during assembly, but once assembled it was sturdier. The brackets are plastic and the shade material is also plastic. The instructions were okay but as senior citizens we needed strong light and a magnifying glass to discern the difference in some of the smaller pieces in the picture directions. The smaller pieces also were not labeled in the packaging. Once the shade was together, and it is the easiest process - to assemble prior to installing, it was awkward for 2 people to put it up. A small area came apart and we had to take it down and reassemble and put it up again. We did try some glue but it did not hold. We did get it up and we caulked the gap between the shade and the house (wood siding). So far it is performing as we hoped - keeping rain from directly hitting a small bay window roof. We are satisfied with our purchase

Not an easy install if you get the 3 section one
Since the majority of homes in America have staggered siding / clappered style, I don't believe this is a good choice. It will work easily if you have flat siding, but other than that expect a very difficult install. Not just because of your style of siding, but this thing is a nightmare to try and keep together while placing it onto the house. Not to mention assembling it, sliding in the clear portions into the rails is a nightmare. When preparing to put it up on the house, I used a series of ratchet straps to keep it together so it wouldn't keep falling apart. What you save on purchase price you will make up for in labor if you have to pay someone to install this.I had a buddy help me, but three or four people would be much easier (again if you buy the largest size)It is very difficult to flash around it, forcing you to pretty much just caulk where the structure meets the siding. Very rarely will this be watertight or results in a quality outcome. It's been up for a few months, and we'll see how it handles the snow loads in the Northeast.... Just know you're getting what you're paying for on this one.

Shelter from the rain!
I ordered this and then was concerned with all the posts on how hard it was to put in. I printed out all the 'extra' advice and my husband took a couple of weeks but got this hung up (with the help of my son). It's not completely flush against the house (since we have an attic window in the way), but with the overhang of the roof, it still works and keeps us dry. We needed something over the side door to be able to stand for a minute without getting ourselves or what we were bringing in, wet. Great product.
