I purchased this in October for my Bob Ross Halloween Costume and I tell ya whhhat, it was a masterpiece. Very comfortable fit. Peak gentle painter energy. The quality? So good that I suspect the only reason Amazon lists it as a “frequently returned item” is because people wear it once for an event and try to sneak it back. (Shame on you, temporary denim enthusiasts!)This shirt isn’t just a costume piece—it’s a lifestyle. I threw it on over a t-shirt for a casual look, and suddenly, I felt ready to paint some happy little trees. The snap buttons? So satisfying. The angled yoke details? Fancy enough to make me feel like I know what a “yoke detail” is.Bottom line: Whether you're dressing up as Bob Ross or just want a solid denim shirt that won’t disappoint, this one is a work of art.

Not made of denim--too light and flimsy. Does not seem likely to prevent mosquitoes from biting through it. Smells like manure after two washes. Smaller than expected. I typically wear a medium, and the large is just barely big enough.
