Cotton Polyester Broadcloth Fabric Premium Apparel Quilting 45" (1 Yard, Coral)

I ordered this fabric because I needed something affordable to make my boys’ Halloween costumes with. This broadcloth was the right price and came in all three colors that I was looking for. It fit my needs perfectly! The colors are true to their descriptions, even if the pictures look weird on the Amazon page. The red, for example, is a true “fire truck” red even though it looks pinkish on Amazon. There is no pink tone in it at all. The Kelly Green matches a Kelly Green baseball cap I had purchased from a different seller almost exactly (you can see them both in the picture) and the Royal Blue looks light blue on Amazon but it’s a true Royal Blue in real life. The fabric itself is lightweight, which is perfect for Halloween costumes since they wear them over their pajamas anyway. It also arrived true to the length that I had ordered (I measured each cut at least three times) and is very easy to work with since it doesn’t fray much, pins smoothly and stitches by hand easily. It also presses nicely and doesn’t wrinkle much when being worn, which is nice when I’m costuming young children. All together a great purchase. I highly recommend it!

The orange is NOT the exact color it advertises in the picture. I ordered this clothe because the deep rustic orange color and silky smooth appearance it shows in the picture, which was exactly what I'm looking for. Instead I received a bright orange fabric that had absolutely no sheen to it. It seemed very cheap and thin too.Look at the pictures i posted to see the difference. I returned it as inaccurate description, and i only received a partial refund. I think they charged me return shipping, which i thought they should cover since it was their bad.

I got this material to make a quilt. It arrived timely and great for holding its shape and seams stay open well after steam ironing. The only reason I did not give this a 5 star rating is the fact that it ravels really bad. No matter how many times I trim the seams, it is all ravels before I get a square sewn. It does not appear that it will ravel beyond the seam once sewn but I have never seen a broadcloth ravel this badly. I sure hope that after putting all this work into a patchwork quilt, that is will not ravel and come apart.

I bought this fabric to cover my classroom bulletin boards. It is lightweight, silky, sturdy enough for this application, washes well, and machine dries without wrinkling. This is a keeper that will be able to be used again next year. I'll just bind it with Liquid Stitch or zigzag stitch the cut edges to keep it from fraying while being laundered.

My fabric was evenly woven, color was even throughout, and after washing I noticed very little shrinkage and no color loss. Very satisfied.

This fabric served exactly as needed. I needed an inexpensive fabric for a project I was doing and this fit the bill. It is very thin and lightweight, which unfortunately didn't make it ideal for my project, as fabric glue seeped right through it and I ended up having to sew the project. Otherwise good for the price!

The quality of the fabric seems nice enough and the material may soften with wear, washing, and use, but it is a bit stiff and the colour is much lighter than pictured (magenta). I'd recommend it for crafts and quilting, but not clothing.

You do not get the yardage you pay for no straight edges on what you do get and have to cut a lot off to get a straight edge to work with got maybe a yard and a 1/4th out of 2 yards after the edges were cut straight, the material its self is very cheap see through, rips very easily will never buy again!! Only leave a review is when it's that terrible!!
