This linden flower and leaf smells and tastes delicately sweet and alluring. It was really a nice surprise to open up this bag and smell such floral sweetness. The aroma is on the subtle side, but it's a really pleasant, calming herb to add to relaxing, stress-relieving tea blends. It smells mildly of fresh spring flowers, rather than just any spice or plant or bark.Linden contains flavanoids (especially quercetin & kaempferol), caffeic and other acids, mucilage, tannins, volatile oil, and traces of benzodiazepine-like compounds. The flavanoids improve circulation. Linden is also an antispasmodic, sweat-inducing, and sedative remedy. It relieves tension and sinus headaches, helping to calm the mind and allow easy sleep. Linden is a fantastic remedy for stress and panic, and is used specifically to treat anxiety attacks and nervous palpitations.Linden flowers bring relief to colds and flu by reducing nasal congestion and soothing fever. They lower blood preasure, particularly when emotional factors are involved. Because of their lovely emollient quality, linden flowers are used in France to make a lotion for itchy skin.I recently used the linden in a new delicious herbal tea blend called Luscious Linden-Berry, which contains various healthy herbs and berries. One warning: this is one of the many thousands of Amazon products whose price goes way up and down constantly. It's not worth a price over $15 for 4 ounces.

I'm studying herbalism and use this as an infusion (much stronger than a tea) for the joint pain associated with a chemotherapy drug I took. If you're looking for pain relief, I drink 2-4 cups of the infusion periodically - morning, mid-day and evening. I chose to use this instead of opioids and it didn't leave me 100% pain free, but it took a lot of the pain away. I could manage the remaining issues with a baby aspirin. If you'd like to make an iced tea, you can make ice cubes with the infusion and they are pinkish/red - really pretty for entertaining. The taste is light and fresh. I'm on my fourth bag of it. I like to buy from a reputable company with sustainable farming practices and I do my best to ingest organic herbs since my immune-system was compromised.

Love the tea. Great flavor but need to use more than 1 tsp and steep about 10 minutes.

After reading the great reviews I decided to try this tea and have not been disappointed. It is so good and I love drinking it right before bed and let me tell you, for a good night's sleep -- this is the tea for you. For added relaxation, mix it with Passion Flower tea and you are in for some seriously good rest. The quality and flavor of this tea is all there and I would certainly purchase it again.

By looking at the bag there doesn't seem to be that many round buds. It's mostly leaves. So I was surprised how wonderful it tasted. The scent is divine. I used two teaspoons per cup. It is very good. Good properties associated with this tea. Hope it will help lowering blood pressure.

I was feeling very congested one night and drank this tea and felt much better in the morning, I could finally breath through my nose 😅. I drank another cup and consumed no medicine, I only put honey in the tea and I felt LOADS better. Nature truly heals.

Giving this 5 stars because it showed up on time. Seems good, but I use it in caps mixed with other herbs, so I can’t really determine the quality of it. I’m just hoping for the best.

I've learned to brew this tea from my parents. If you follow the instructions and simply pour boiling water on the leaves it doesn't extract all its essences. The trick is to bring a pot of water to boil, add the leaves and infuse them for 4-5 min until the tea is golden. Filter for a smooth tea. Zen time!
