It came incredibly well packaged.... they really went overboard but then I suspect it's pretty fragile so that was a good idea. It is/was exactly what I needed to repair an oriental lamp which had been damaged in a move. I'm happy with the quality and will buy from them again if/when I've need.

This base is exactly what I needed to replace one broken in a shipment. Beautiful color, intricate carving around the edges, and a perfect 5" fit for my Kutani lamp.
