Favorite Pens for Drawing
I love these pens! They don’t bleed, they fit comfortably in my fingers, and they fill in spaces nicely. I use them in my bullet journals and for drawing on watercolor paintings.

My new favorite pens!
These are my new favorite pens! I do a lot of very detailed pen and ink drawings so I'm always searching for the perfect pen. These aren't that, but they're the best I've come across in a long time.Someone recommend Staedler fineliners, so I bought a set. I liked them, but I needed to by a single kind of pen in bulk, not a bunch of sets.I found this type of pen on blick.com and ordered 10 out of open stock. They seemed just right.I looked them up here and found you can buy them in boxes of 10! They're cheaper than blick and I'm a prime member so..... It's a way better deal! It's exciting to find a speciality drawing pen right here on amazon! It's such a good price. But the best part is that they come in large quantities! I could never afford to keep myself drawing if I was using pens that only came in a package of 1 or 2.The pens are black. A true, dark black ink that doesn't fade when it dries. Some other name brand pens aren't black enough, but these are. They bleed a little, even on cardstock. That makes me a bit dissatisfied. The ink flows freely which makes my lines look clean. The nib is firm and it stays that way. The ink runs out before the nib breaks down. The ink lasts an average amount of time. The triangular shape of the barrel is comfortable to hold and convenient.I really enjoy drawing with these pens!

Best note/journal taking pen with no bleedthrough
These are definitely my favorite fine tip felt pen. They have a nice color and they don’t bleed through the paper at all. You can barely see them from the other side. It’s almost equivalent to writing with a pencil, when referring to seeing it from the other side. So that makes it nice for notes. If you write notes in pen. The pigment is really dark so seeing it on the side you write is awesome too. Especially if you have bad eyesight. I do enjoy the triangular shape, it is comfortable. I have tried many many different fine tipped pens for notes and this has been my favorite. It also is recommended on many note taking blogs and journal makers. My definite favorite.

Great pens - get it together with Staedtler potable office stand
Great pens - get it together with Staedtler potable office stand. I like using it on Rhodia dot notepads - a perfect duo for notes, writing, sketching, etc. I like taking notes that include both text and quick diagrams, and this is perfect. I used to be devoted to Zebra Sarasa pens, and still like them for writing (plus prefer their colors), but they smear, so not quite perfect for quick sketches with notes - this is.

Greatest Pens in Existence!
These pens are phenomenal! I have been using them for several years now, and I honestly don’t think I could ever use another pen consistently again. Every time I let someone borrow one, I get the same feedback; they love it! They are easy to hold, and they produce the most smooth black lines you’ve ever seen. Buy these pens and you won’t be sorry! Highly recommended!

My new favorite pen! Made in Germany.
Four features I love most about this pen are:1) The barrel has 3 sides and it's very comfortable to hold2) Writes very smoothly3) The tip is long and thin so I can see where the tip/ink is going4) Makes me feel important and special when I use this fancy, pointy pen at workI feel these quality pens are a super deal for the price (Amazon sells a 10 pack for just $10). I love that the ink doesn't show through the back of paper, so I really can use them at work. I can write much faster with this pen because of the comfort and smoothness of writing. You can see my picture of a comparison of how it writes vs some other pens I own. And while it's thicker than the others, it's still relatively fine. Fine enough for me to buy a box of 10!

Not the Colors I thought they would be.
I stumbled across the Staedtler 20 pack at Blick's Brick & Mortar store and bought them immediately. I ended up paying double for them but had never seen them before and I justified the cost as they were the best water based fine liner I've ever used...and the case/stand is just amazing! Then I saw they had a 36 set and wanted to get that but could not justify the cost. My daughter is pre-med at UC Berkeley and has alot of biology and chemistry classes where she uses a sketch book for drawing chemical compositions instead of a regular note book. I thought these would be perfect for her as most of the molecules need to be color-coded. Of course, she loves them! I went to buy the 36 pack, but wanted the stand alot and the 36 does not have the stand. So instead, I found the 20 pack for 1/3 of what I originally paid ($11) and thought I would just add the pastel and nature pack.I mean...I love the colors I received...but they are NOT what I ordered. I ordered the pack with 55, 77, 29, 260, 69 and 8 in it. (Translation--Earth green, Warm Sepia, Carmine, Tuscan Red, Red Violet and light Grey). This is supposedly the "Old Nature" set. What I got was the "New Nature" set of 55.77. 29, 260, 7 and 31. (Translation--Earth green, Warm Sepia, Carmine, Tuscan Red, Brown and "Cyan." I have Cyan in my 20 pack. This blue IS NOT Cyan. It's darker...but not as dark as the blue. I didn't want the brown or blue. I have those colors. I wanted the Red Violet and grey. Then, in my research on this, I found out that there is now a 42 set with six colors you can only get in that set. I am strongly suspicious that the blue and brown I received are actually the indigo and burnt sienna from that pack.Still, this does NOT detract from the quality of my product. All the pens work; the colors are great (the carmine to me is the deeper red I've searched widely for and almost no one has this deep red color).I normally would give this a 5 star, but needed to acknowledge that it is not what I ordered.I also would have considered contacting the seller, but for the first time in 12 years, I've had to return quite a few items lately for poor quality or flat out not being what I ordered. I don't want to keep complaining--and I mean, I can buy the red violet open stock...so.Yes, I would recommend these to a friend, but I would be more diligent in my purchase next time to make certain it is exactly what I wanted.

Staedler makes great fine-liner pens
I like the quality of Staedler art products. These were also very well-priced at 50¢ each!
