Royal Albert Old Country Roses are still a very nice set of dishes, even though now they are made in Indonesia, and not in England. Not many things are made in original countries anymore, look at the USA. Did you know that Royal Albert, Royal Doulton and many other old English china companies are now owned by Fiskars Corporation, a company from Helsinki, Finland? Royal Albert Old Country Roses is still nice for serving afternoon tea. We have a whole set, even a three tier serving tray and my wife enjoys putting on afternoon teas for family and friends.

Top quality and was exactly what I wanted to give to my daughter and her husband to expand their set.

I needed additional place settings, as I only had 6 dinner plates. It was so nice that they are still in production and readily available at a reasonable price. I now have 12 of everything. They are very pretty and looked lovely at Thanksgiving.

This pattern is absolutely beautiful! I do not like how thin the plates are. I have Spode which are thick.

Beautiful dishes. Yes, as some have mentioned, you can see the dot pattern on the flowers IF you look closely in good light. I doubt my guests will do that. Viewed from a normal distance, they are still absolutely lovely. They were very well packed, and arrived incredibly quickly. I am very pleased!

I noticed the poor quality right away by decided to go ahead and use it because I needed it immediately. While washing, I noted the made in Indonesia stamp without the normal Royal Albert notation, etc.
