We bought this after a similar product failed to meet expectations and was a nightmare to install. Installation was as easy as possible, goes in like any other light. The length of the wire is adjustable and is as easy to change as unscrewing a small but at the base and tightening It when the desired length of wire is found. I used a “Edison” style LED filament bulb (everyone knows the kind) I had left over from a chandelier installation. The whole package looks fantastic and is a great addition to my kitchen. Excellent for that country rustic style.

This is a good light. We placed it over the sink and it matches the other Mason jar lights in kitchen and dining area. I added a wall switch dimmer and a 60w equivalent led bulb. I can blast it for sink work, midway for general light and dim for a nightlight. Solidly made but 4 stars because the paint job was poor on the jar lid. I was able to position the light so the bare spot faced the wall so no need to get out the spray paint.One thing to note with this style light over the sink is it may be harsh on the eyes if you look up at it. We accepted that as a possibility since we needed to to provide supplemental lighting for counter tops and also be a night light for late night kitchen snacking. Its not been an issue though, if you are washing dishes, there is no need to look up at the light, lol.

I bought this light for my kitchen because I thought it would look nice with all the Mason and Ball jars that I have. It’s a nice light but it’s not a Mason jar it’s just a jar. I’m returning it unfortunately.

One of the 2 lights came missing a piece and the jars are not interchangeable with other mason jars. The jars are extremely hard to get onto the lids - I would not recommend this brand. It’s made very cheaply- you get what you pay for I guess.

I LOVE this fixture. It’s so whimsical. A regular light bulb was too bright so I found a twinkle bulb and it looks so cute....like fireflies in a jar.
