The led strips are great and the lighting is perfect for what I needed! There are many led lights on the strips so it will feel more even when lit if you are planning to hide it like how I did. Dimmable and can go warmer or lighter. It sticks very well to multiple surfaces. One of the best things, the remote control! I love it so much! Get it! You won't be disappointed.

Updated. after a few months adhesive was failing (ceiling is textured so somewhat expected) so I installed the diffuser from Thmoother available here in Amazon...adding a picture showing that as well.I liked this, the 80 feet was enough to go around my large living room 20x16.. the color temperature selection was nice. the remote works great. the self adhesive seems to be sticking fairly well so far but it's only been 1 day.the downside is these are not bright enough to light up the room, but they are great at removing all the weird shadows from the torchiere lamps. I am keeping 1 torch lamp but this really works better than what I had before ..I did not have any quality problems. seems durable. it comes with an extension cord for the power supply which was nice so that it would reach from the ceiling to the floor . also comes with 20 or so hooks and some double stick tape for the controller . very versatile.

Purchased this to light up a dark indoor doorway. This product is easy to install. I like the remote so u can adjust brightness/ warmth. I gave a four star because every so often the tape separates slightly from the wood doorframe (a quick tap will pop it back in place). I would buy it again.

When I was looking for temperature changing LED strip lights that were around 40 feet long (yes, very specific, but that's why I was looking around) I stumbled across this LED strip. It is nice and bright and the remote can control it no matter where you point which is also a plus. I was really looking for something like this ALSO with RGB, but I found that this was good. I really wish it was USB powered, but I do understand that when it comes to this many LED's and the fact that they are bright that it is preferred to go with a standard barrel connector. The only thing I wish was better was the adhesive, because I stuck it on my wall and after a couple of days it started peeling off and drooping, also I had 1 single yellower colored LED that just didn't (not much of an issue). I do want to make it clear that my wall is textured and the box does say not to put it on textured walls which is why I didn't really knock it down points for that. I just used some other sticky tape and it did the trick just fine. If you need 40 feet of LED's or whatever the other options are, I would recommend these light because they are also easy to set up.

These lights are a great addition to any room, especially if it is a room that has no light sockets, but there are some drawbacks. I've had these lights for about 8 months when I wrote this review. I'll outline some pros and cons.Pros*This light can be put up in any room with an outlet.*Covers rooms that are approx 100 sq/ft.*Remotes work with individual rooms so you can have multiple rooms with lights in them.*The remote is quality and about the size of a typical tv remote.*Plenty of lighting adjustments from warm to cold as well as diming abilities.*Comes with hold downs in the event the surface is not feasible for adhesion.*Power cord is 5-6 ft.Cons*The adhesion could be better. It can tend to come off of the surface after the lights heat up a bit. I would recommend cleaning the area that you are going to install the lights really well in order to aid in adhesion otherwise you are going to have problems.Overall the pros outweighed the cons. I have since bought 2 more of these for 2 other rooms that didn't have lights installed in the room.

Had mounted this on a window frame with double sided tape. I wanted to use the led lights as an accent wall lighting and wanted it lit the entire time even when we are watching television but it was a wrong move because I did not forsee that the light would reflect when its simultaneously on together with the television. The television was across it. Had to redo it and decided to have it on the floor instead and have a shadow effect on the wall. I was amazed how the product held up even when I took it apart. All of the lights turned on. You can use this led light by itself without any accessories or add ons but I wish they would mention as an option on the product details / description that you have the choice of wanting to make it look professional by buying the add ons. I had to research it onmy own coz I did not want the led lights poking out with tiny squares on that long strip. I wanted it pleasing to the eyes and make it look a bit somehow professionally made. I had to buy an a. )aluminum led channel system to diffuse the light( brand :muzata, comes in 10 pack ) b.) Led channel connector brand : muzata ) c.) L shape 4 pin connectors 10 pack for the led lights, you need a corner connector ( brand :jackyled ). I did not want to use screws and poke a hole on the wall , so I use a double sidedtape d.) Brand : Nano double sided tape. Overall this product is sturdy even if I had to redo and put the connectors back in. It did not break. All of the LEDs lit up. It very bright. When put up against the wall it will light up the entire room without even using your main lights. It's a white light and can be dimmed. It's so pretty. It highlights your wall especially if put it on the floor. It accentuates your wallpaper and etcetera.I have it for close to more than 4 months now. It's still working well and I have ordered 4 more. I have 5 in total. I had moved it alot of times. I think what made mine sturdy if you think you would move it around and change it and place it someplace else from time to time is not strip off / peel or use the sticky tape ( at the back of the led lights ).; instead use another sticky tape or a 3m strip , this way when you have to pull it and redecorate ...it keeps the led lights together and does not apart. It worked for me. I wish they would sell it at an affordable price point. It's a bit expensive especially if you buy lots of it

Good quality product. I like the remote, way better than those cheap/ugly looking ones. I had to return it because it wasn't bright enough for my application. I thought I could light up a room with 40 feet, but it wasn't enough. More for ambiance lighting. Awesome customer service.

Worked fine at first but after only 2 month the LED occasionally flickers and changes color by itself. I rarely even used it. Quite disappointed.
