I recently decided to dress as a lion for Halloween. As such I purchased three different lion costumes to see which one was best. This review will cover all three costumes and give my opinion on which is best. I’m a relatively large guy (about 5’10”, 250 lbs) and this costume did not fit well. The material was very lightweight and comfy, but the legs were too short and hit hugged by nether region creating a camel-like appendage (if you know what I mean). As described, it does zip closed, which is super convenient. And the mane is a hood, which is nice. No pockets to hold your phone/wallet/etc. though. Ended up deciding to pass on this one due to these shortcomings.Second was this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08V19C7C2?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_detailsAgain, the material felt nice, but it was a heavier fabric than the first one. The feet with the elastic were nice, but the front paws (hands) look cheesy. The mane is a separate piece which is not terribly convenient. It also closes with Velcro in the back. This, along with the weight of the material made me pass on this one.Finally, I tried this one, which ended up being my choice: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07VYTSQ9P?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_detailsOnce again, the material feels nice and this one is super-lightweight like the first. The mane is a hood, which is nice. The material around the “paws” covers your hands and feet a bit, so that is a nice touch. It closes with a zipper, and it has pockets which zip closed as well. This costume combined with my mask is definitely the best option in my opinion.

Great quality! Durable and comfortable. Plenty of compliments given while wearing. I’d purchase from TipsyElves again for future costumes. Oh, and they’re warm!

The giraffe costume is great. I’m 6’4” 205lbs and it’s a pretty good fit in the XL. The face cutout sits a little low and the sleeves and legs are a touch short but I’m not bothered. Initial quality looks good. One of the nostril pieces needs to be glued to secure it but still not a problem.

For the price, this was a great, easy, and good looking Halloween costume. Worked well with our circus theme for the family. I was easily able to wear normal clothes underneath. Easy reach through to pockets. Tail was nice. Easy on and off. I would recommend it if you are looking for something along these lines. For reference, I am a big dude, 6’1’ and over 250, and it fit me fine.

Would love to give it more stars bc fabric is soft and design is great but after trying it on for 5 mins, the zipper came off the fabric. We now have a gaping hole right in the middle of it. My husband is 5’7 and 180 and large fit perfect.

I am a bigger guy and the onsie fit great. Looked good and was fun to have a tail and furry hood. There was a slight issue with the stitching on one of the seams I needed to restitch a couple inches.

Worst costume I have ever bought. The fur came out in chunks, shed everywhere and even ruined the clothes I wore underneath it. The small kangaroo that came with it did not fit in the pouch and would not stay inside.
