Garth Brooks -- The Ultimate Hits: Piano/Vocal/Chords Paperback – January 1, 2008

I am not an experienced musician. I took lessons as a child and have since picked it back up. I bought this songbook on a whim. . . I was looking for To Make You Feel My Love. . . I had already purchased a version of the Bob Dylan song as separate sheet music, but wasn't really impressed. . . I was looking for it to sound just like the Garth Brooks version from the Hope Floats CD. Long story short, this book was exactly what I was looking for. I have always been a Garth Brooks fan and here I am now playing all of my favorite Garth Brooks songs!!!! I have spent hundreds of dollars in sheet music recently, but this is by far one of the best transcriptions of popular songs that I have found. It seemed very accurate to my untrained ear. If you are a Garth Brooks fan, then you should definitely grab this one. It even included the musical intros to songs which some of the books I have encountered don't. This is from a beginner/intermediate piano players point of view.

I'm so glad to have the piano music to many of Garth's songs. I recently got started collecting Garth's music with the Ultimate Hits and was surprised there was a piano book to go with it. I'm so glad I found it and have the songs from the CD/DVD collection that I can play at home. There are a few songs I really love and wanted the music for but didn't think there would be a way for me to get them. I stumbled across this while checking out the Ultimate CD/DVD set and was very excited to see I could get the piano music too. Especially for the handful that are my absolute favorites. There are of course many other songs in this that I thoroughly enjoy also. I highly recommend this.

Good variety of Garth Brooks songs. I am enjoying learning to play them on the piano. Would prefer it to be spiral bound so that it would lay better, but other than that I love it.

Great book. Has so many good songs. All of them have the basic components a piano player would want. They are your typical sheet music transcriptions, but this doesn’t claim to be an “authentic recording” book. A great value for any Garth fan.

Wonderful folio with all of the great Garth's best hits. You will not be disappointed.

For an easy piano sheet music book, it provides a good base for the songs. If you want to play them as they were performed, you have to modify the music yourself a bit, but it isn't too far off.As a few previous reviewers mentioned, the book itself would be much better if it were spiralbound, as the binding used makes it difficult to play from the sheet music without holding it open.

It was misleading. I was going through all the CD's listed and I didn't think I was getting a book. The book was very good though.
