I am so impressed with these towels. Super quality and beautiful. I washed and dried them before using, and they shed a bit, but nothing bad. I got two of these to put in my beach bag. Because they thinner than traditional towels, they roll up to a much smaller size, leaving more room for other things, like sunblock, lunch containers, etc. They are perfect on a chair or lounge, at the pool or beach. Definately recommend!

I wanted to wait and use these for a few weeks before reviewing them to see if I had any issues. I soaked them for 24 hours in the bathtub as per the instructions, before washing and drying as usual. They were soft and absorbent right from the start. The size is both good and not so good. Good because it's nice and large and easy to wrap around my plus sized body. Not so good because I'm 5'2" and the tassels baaaaarely start to hit the floor when I'm drying off and get wet on the shower floor, but my 6' husband doesn't have that trouble at all. They're just a little weird to get used to at first, being so thin, but I like them a lot, would 100% buy again.

I got this to replace a much older one from a different company, and found out that this company is SO MUCH BETTER!!! Worth the price in every way. I didn’t realize there was such a difference between brands, if I knew I would have got this first. Now you know!! Don’t buy the cheaper ones! I missed years of this better one, lol. I followed the tip for soaking first, and right away after the first wash and line dry the towel was thick, soft and luxurious feeling. The color and weaving pattern is also really lovely.

I brought this with me to Costa Rica and it is the absolute best towel/blanket for the sand I've ever used. Sand comes right off, soft and dries quickly.

It’s a cute towel, but more like a beach spread or light blanket. I read other reviews before buying, and I expected good absorption. Looking back at reviews, I’m copying and pasting someone’s review as it’s exactly my experience:I followed the directions given to “train” the cotton towel to be absorbent. It is not as absorbent as a terrycloth towel. It makes a great beach towel since it dries fast and wraps nicely. Takes up less space in bag. I was hoping to also use it in the bathroom (since it is so soft and nice looking) but it leaves me a bit damp when used indoors: the towel dries the water droplets which is perfect for pool or beach as the sun and air quickly take care of the damp left on skin- but I wouldn’t want to use after shower in the winter when I want to dress immediately afterwards. Love it as a beach towel and small summer travel blanket.

I wanted to wait until I had used and washed these towels before submitting a review. I had never purchased this type of towel before but I wanted them for two reasons 1) we go camping in an RV and I wanted towels that didn’t take up a lot of room and dried quickly 2) my expensive washer bangs when I put my regular towels in it and I didn’t want to wear out my appliance. The towels arrived very nicely packaged and on the scheduled day stated when ordered. When I took them out I was pleased with their size, thickness and appearance. Upon using them they took just a day or two to get use to, they aren’t as thick as regular towels however they were absorbent enough to get the job done. When I washed them I was very pleased, no banging in my washer and they dried in my drier very fast. After washing they looked as good as when I purchased them, no shrinkage, no pilling, even softer than they were prior to being washed. After I use them after I shower I hang them behind my bathroom door, they look nice but I think they are a little slower to dry than I had hoped due to a lack of air circulation behind the door , not the fault of the towels. They do dry, just not fast, but again I think that’s a location issue and not a towel issue (reason I only took one star off) and by the next day they are perfectly dry and smell fresh and clean. I purchased the matching hand towels once I decided how much I liked these towels. I am very happy with this purchase, I would buy these towels again from this distributor. As a result of the benefits listed above I don’t see myself returning to the former heavier type of towel in the future.

After trying 2 other brands from Amazon (Havuland and Ray Silver) the Demmex is FAR superior! The towels were so soft and cozy right out of the package. I soaked them for 24 hours like the packaging said and then laundered them in cold water, followed by a delicate cycle in the dryer. I have also been looking for Turkish towels that work well for after shower use and these absorbed so much better, compared to the other 2 brands. They feel plush like a traditional towel and absorb on contact - and this was only after one 24-hour soak and one wash! So, they should keep getting softer and more absorbent as I use them. The other towels that I tried (Havuland and Ray Silver) just pushed the water around on my skin and took a long time to absorb, even after soaking and washing multiple times. I think they were a cotton-poly blend, but the Demmex is definitely legit 100% cotton from Turkey and backed up by the certification documentation that comes with each item. I purchased these towels specifically for camping, where I will be using them for showers AND to use at the beach, so they had to work in both situations. (They couldn't just be decorative sarongs with mediocre absorbency, like so many other Turkish towel brands.) These towels have exceeded my expectations and I already placed an order for more. I plan to use these at home, for camping and the beach, because they truly work for all situations. So glad I decided to go with this brand because I am beyond happy with my purchase and would absolutely recommend to anyone else looking for high-quality Turkish towels. Very happy with how it appears when it arrives. It does not feel cheaply made or rushed. Gorgeous color (I got Nile), super soft to feel, absorbs well (have not used it to dry off yet, but I spilled some water to check), light weight as advertised and perfect size. I plan to use this towel in multiple ways. Excited to bring it around all summer. I would love a 2nd towel in Coral. I appreciate the quality so much and like how you can choose from many colors. I have already recommended to a few friends and family.

La qualité est là c'est indéniable. Par contre, et je le savais en ayant lu les précédents commentaires, elles perdent énormément de peluches au lavage. Là où je n'avais pas pris l'empleur de ce point, c'est que ces peluches s'agglutinent dans le filtre de vidange de la machine. J'en ai pris connaissance en ayant un code erreur sur ma machine qui n'arrivait plus à vidanger (après le 3eme lavage). A priori, après 1h à vider ma machine manuellement et à retirer toutes les peluches, elle semble refonctionner. Donc, attention, bien penser à nettoyer le filtre de sa machine après chacun des 1ers lavages ou du moins jusqu'à temps qu'elles ne perdent plus de peluches. Si non, elles sont belles et douces et les couleurs correspondent aux photos (acheté en vert sauge et bleu pétrole).Petite précision : j'ai lavé 4 serviettes de format 46x96 3 fois en 3 jours avant d'avoir ce problème de machine

Quick drying and good size for multi use shower picnic mat table cloth so forth

These are a very fine quality towel. Colours very vivid, finish neat and uniform, have been a real great addition to our bathroom/washroom over the summer months. Great to step out of a shower when the outside temperature is warm/hot to lightweight cotton that absorbs really well. Now the weather has dramatically changed in the UK, we will put them away until next year/warmer vacation as more texture and warmth is required. We are really pleased with this purchase.
