Ancient Egypt: Tales of Gods and Pharaohs Paperback – Picture Book, February 26, 2013

My daughter is a huge fan of all of Marcia Williams books. It allows her to learn about something in a format that is accessible to her age-level. The pictures are great, and the stories are laid out well. The Egyption Mythology book is a great addition to her collection.

Enjoying reading this with my elementary aged daughter. Wanted to expose her to Egyptian mythology before school starts to expose her to Greek mythology. I am enjoying reading this more than she is!

This wa sused for a librray program on ancient Egypt for middle school aged children. The stories were interesting, the graphics colorful and the humorous comments were a hit with the 9-12 year crowd.

My son is 5 but has a high reading leveland is very interested in ancient EgyptHe says: I can learn and am able to look up the names of ancient egyptiangods and goddesses. I like the look of the book!

Great for teaching Ancient Egypt to my kindergartener. She's age five years old and loves the silly pictures. I love that she's learning a lot of the history and myths of Ancient Egypt. The author tells some stories that would be a little creepy but the funny cartoons make it lighthearted instead. I provide Christian education to my kids and was concerned if the book would promote polytheism. So, in some parts I was reading aloud and chose different words than the text - i.e. "The Egyptians many wonderful gods" I changed to "The Egyptians many gods."

So much I did not know! I cannot wait to read with child.

Very creative way for kids to learn about Egypt. Lots of great information and the comic strip format holds their attention.

My grandkids enjoyed it.
