Pastor's shoes shine like Heaven!
10 STARS! I am a shoe polishing machine. Give me soft rags from mens undershirt material, spray bottle of H2O and good wax and I'll give you marine gloss! My evolution: Kiwi to Kiwi parade gloss to Meltonian to Lincoln, and now Saphir. SAPHIR is hands down the best product ever!I first bought the tin of Saphir black wax (10 bucks)-later took a flyer on the black Renovator product $20. Best of the best and I think because it goes so far it may even wind up being more cost efficient. Ive found rubbing product deeply into the grain, semi polishing, letting it sit for 5-10 minutes, and then back with clean soft cloth and very light soft spritz of water brings both luster AND suppleness to shoes. If you are serious either about your shoes or their shine- you must try this!!! I'm a pastor and several congregants could tell the difference Sunday!

This goes further than most polishes
I have a few pairs of AE shoes, my fifth avenues in dark brown were looking a bit worn out as far as the color goes. I decided to buy this polish in dark brown and used it today. After applying it I left it to absorb for four hrs. Then I came back and used a horse hair brush and it completely transformed with just a few brush strokes. Has an amazing shine for just a pigmented cream polish. Please see the photos of the before, middle and after. I will be getting these in other colors as well.

Saphir Pommadier Cream Polish is a poor performer
I like my dress shoes to look nice and I'm willing to pay a premium price for a quality product. However, this Saphir Pommadier Cream Polish is a poor performer at an over-the-top price. When I went to return it, Selekt Supply said because I had opened it, it was used and "We do not accept used items for returns." REALLY? Look, save your money and do not do business with Selekt Supply. They do not stand behind their product.

And I thought I had been using good shoe polish for the last 30 years......ha!
I've been using Kiwi, Lincoln and other shoe polishes for many years because, well, that's what was readily available. I bought this polish on a whim. I figured, oh what the heck, I'll try it out. One word: WOW!This is NOT like all of the other polishes. This polish returns the shoe's leather back to its original softness and gives a luster that is just not matched with Kiwi, Lincoln or the others. It's a deep, glossy, rich, luxurious shine that is noticeably better.I stripped and renovated a 20 year old pair of high-end Johnston-Murphy Aristocraft dress shoes a couple of weeks ago that were looking a bit shop-worn with the Saphir Renomat product and followed up with this polish. WOW!!!The shoes looked like a million bucks! Maybe better than when they were new because they still had a rich patina but looked brand new. Meaning, they looked like the real deal and not like the new shoes that are sprayed with dye to look patina'd and worn.Color me very impressed. I was so pleased with the result that I bought three other colors of this polish and now use it on all of my dress and work shoes. It's THAT good and is worth the extra money because it gives a much better look and is better for expensive shoes.

The best deep polish
Put away your ordinary paste polish. I've used common shoe waxes like Esquire, Kiwi and Lincoln for decades. Throw that away or limit it to the edges of the soles. This cream polish, buffed, then followed by Saphir paste, will make people think you hired a professional shoe shine boy.

Excellent brand
I discovered the Saphir shoe product a while back when browsing on Youtube. Here I discovered that Saphir is one of the most reputable brand, touted by the shoe enthusiasts. It is a French brand, surprisingly unknown to most French people. Actually maybe not surprisingly because you would not find this brand in any supermarkets because it caters to aficionados only.It is indeed a very good brand that makes very good products.I have gotten very good results following the Youtube tutorials. The Saphir Pommadier Cream polish is used as its name implies to polish your shoes once they are clean and treated. You do not need to use much. Rub it in, let it dry for a few hours and then brush them with a nice horse hair shoe brush and you will be done.Last, spraying a bit of water on top before the final buff gets the best shine...

bordeaux = purple !!!!
Their bordeaux is purple. This would work well on purple shoes perhaps, but not bordeaux, which is a color between burgundy and maroon, not dark purple. Man.... I nearly ruined by shoes. Good thing it mostly scrubs off. I thought Saphir was the best stuff. Did the seller just sell me a bad batch? It's the same color purple as the Taco Bell logo.

Simple to use & looks great!
I'm not a huge shoe person & I don't claim to be an expert polisher. But recently, I've decided to invest a little more (money & time) into my shoes, in order to maintain them better to hopefully make them last longer. I did a little research on what polish was recommended, & Saphir seemed to always get mentioned in the different reviews. Well, they were right...I'll simply say that using this shoe cream was as simple as rubbing in & polishing off with a brush. You can see in the picture how beat up I let these shoes get, but with five minutes of work they looked as good (or better than) new!

Definitely worth buying
A while ago I bought my first Pair of Loake shoes, and then went on buying few more pairs. In the heat of moment, I was ready to spend on buying something premium to protect the shoes, and did my online search, ended up watching thehangerproject and decided to buy Saphir cream polish and wax polished. Having my first experience with Saphir Cream Polish, I will say it’s something very different from usual cheap stuff available in Tesco etc. It smells great, feels ingredients are pure and not just chemicals, and the end result is worth paying this much, it brings a new life in leather, and penetration is great, it’s high in pigments, restores the original look of the leather shoes, it brings only a moderate shine but leather looks nurtured and supple, and with just a slight buff of wax polish, your shoes will give an excellent shine and looks

Saphir black pommadier polish
Pleasant to use, buffs to a mid sheen. Used a brush to apply, would probably soak through a cloth. Richly pigmented, almost solid in texture. According to instructions, 5minutes gap between applying & buffing.

Smart & Polished!
Hi, this item produces a very classy and stylish finish to your shoes when you've finished polishing. You need only use a small amount and you will be very satisfied with the outcome. Though this item (and the companion products of different colours) are marketed towards men, this polish is easily transferable to women's shoes as well.

Pleasure to use - Gives great results
This product is lovely to use because it smells lovely and leaved your shoes conditioned and shiny. I will buy another when it runs out which will be soon...I would say that the only negative is that this little jar doesn't last very long so it works out being quite expensive stuff.

the best
I have to admit ignorance I always used wax polish. I now realise I should have used this and this brand seems the best in the world. Service excellent.
