Well, I bought this to put on top of carpet thinking that it was stiffer than it is. I can’t believe I paid 1599 for basically what a shower curtain could’ve been for what seven bucks pretty upset because I use dog pads on top of it and the dogs just move the plastic all the time it’s kind of useless on carpet.

I bought this because our dining room table is set up over carpet. And I have a baby and a toddler. They can be quite messy. I looked at a lot of different mats. This one was not the prettiest, but it was a good price and fit best what I was looking for. I didn't want any that would be cloth type. I wanted to be able to just wipe up spills quick and keep liquids or sauces from getting on the carpet. I don't need something else to throw in the wash. This is vinyl. It's kind of like a shower curtain. But it is a great size, seems to be holding up very well after a month or two of use now. And it does exactly what I wanted. I wipe the mess up, and that's the end of it! The only thing is when you move the chair over this, you need to pick it up or the mat will start to bunch. Minor inconvenience compared to time and effort this mat saves me!
