I wanted some black boots to shine up well and these are great! Sheplers did a great job.The first pair were to small so I returned and ordered a larger pair (13EE) and Sheplers credited my account the next day before they received my return. Awesome customer service. Comfortable out of the box.

Well made pair of boots. I had always bought the Ariat Heritage with the rubber sole so switching to the leather or hard plastic sole was tricky for a short bit, like if it's raining and I walk in a gas station it can be slick, but I've worn them enough now that I don't even think about slipping. Use saddle soap to help break them in. Great quality over all. You could do far worse. Expensive, but you pay for the quality.5☆

Wrong size, had to return. But also, leather soles are slippery of course. I couldn’t even walk on carpet! Oh, but the whole room smelled like quality leather!

I purchased these boots for my son's 13th birthday. He has never had his feet in cowboy boots before and only wears skate shoes. When he opened the box on his birthday morning, he laughed and thought it was a joke. He then tried them on for fun, looked at himself in a full length mirror, and liked what he saw. We all agreed that he was a good looking cowboy. My son wore the boots all day on a dare and out to dinner that night. He said they felt a little weird since he was not use to wearing boots, but also said they were comfortable. When we arrived at the restaurant, we came across his best friend who noticed immediately that my son was wearing cowboy boots. My son thought he was going to be made fun of but instead his friend told my son that he looked really good in boots. My son even sat down and let his friend try on the boots since his friend had never worn cowboy boots either. My son now prefers the cowboy look and wears his boots everywhere, even to school. He has also purchased two more pairs of boots. His friend also went out and cowboy'd up with his own boots. They both wear nothing but boots at school now and get compliments all the time. Skaters to cowboys, they both looks awesome.

Nice set of boots. Slightly larger than expected, but not too bad. No insoles, it's a rubberized glued in sole. Have to wear a normal cotton socks, vice dress socks.

Very nice boot, however it fit a bit too loose. It fits wide for a EE....possibly because the toe is very round.An E width was not available or else I would have kept them, as the E width would have been just right!!
