super stank breath greatly reduced inside a week of using this
The picture in the product description that is clearly the back of the bag is what to go by when figuring out what is in this. Not sure what the other picture of ingredients is for. Confusing to some, I imagine.Has a robust aroma. I can smell the spirulina. Not all dogs are going to like this, but it is small enough to be hidden in something if need be. I bought this for a new adoption/rescue. She is 9 months old with mega stank breath. I wanted something that wasn't just a masking product (like peppermint based), I am looking for something that may address whatever is going on. I give her one per day between meals. She takes it and eats it fine but I know she isnt super enthused about it. But she eats it fine. Its tiny, just a wee little biscuit shaped tablet. Not exactly soft, but not tablet hard either. More like a slightly soft greeny. Firm soft. Super tiny supplement.I will likely continue with this as her breath doesnt smell absolutely terrible. We've had her for 2 weeks, and I think she has been getting this for exactly 7 days now. Her breath is better. Not perfect, but noticeable improvement.4.5 stars

Cured dead fish breath
My (01/15/23) rescue dog Molly (a 6 year old, 17 pound Yorkie & variety of Terrier breeds (90%), Chihuahua (10%) mix is an avid backyard hunter. Since mid May, she's caught & killed 2 chipmunks, 2 robins, caught & released 3 frogs/toads, (the toads/frogs release a non deadly toxin that causes the prey animal to immediately release it but, my dog drops the frog, the frog plays dead, my dog picks it up again gets more toxins drops the fog, etc, etc, etc until I am able to get the dog away from the frog.) Molly foams at the mouth, coughs & gags, and is fine after I hose her mouth out) My son joked that her breath smelled like the rotting dead fish that washes up on the shores of Lake Erie.I researched breath freshers for dogs and settled on, then purchased the Pet Naturals Breath Fresheners on 06/19, delivered on 06/20. I immediately started giving Molly the breath freshener treats, 1 each day before her regular meals. She loves the little treats, within 5 days her breath was smelling fresh, no more icky nasty rotting dead fish odors emanating from her mouth.Just last night (6/29) Molly captured another frog, released it, grabbed & released it several times before I could get to her. I rinsed Molly's mouth out with the garden hose (while the frog hopped away to safety on the other side of the fence), once Molly was dried off, her breath was smelling fresh, the toxins from the frog did not take away the freshness of her breath. I decided to subscribe & save today because the product works so well for Molly, my little terrorist terrier.I strongly recommend this product.

Misleading ingredient lists - two different lists, one includes Maltodextrin
I purchased these while looking for an alternative to the Greenies brand my dog came to love. but due to his aging and now missing teeth, Greenies are too hard for him to chew. He took to them very quickly, but looking at the ingredient listed on the package it shows that this contains Maltodextrin, a food additive that sweetens without adding sugar. Maltodextrin is known to spike blood sugar much worse and faster than sugar itself with a Glycemic index between 106 and 136 (It's primarily made from "corn" or tapioca which ever is cheapest during production). Why in the world would they add this to a dog treat? It makes ZERO sense. I've purchased these at lease twice before realizing this ingredient is in it. What makes matter worse, the listing here on Amazon shows two separate ingredient lists. One of the listing which does not include it (the one everyone reads), then if you zoom in on the picture of the package, you will see a different ingredient last that include "inactive ingredients and maltodextrin is listed there". The problem is, that the package ingredients do not match the listing ingredients, so what's really in it? While my dog has not had any issues with these, I will need to find a different brand. Maltodextrin has no place in animal foods, treats, etc., nor should it be used for human consumption due to it's high Glycemic index impacting millions of diabetics and prediabetics without them even knowing about this dangerous ingredient in the many foods they are eating daily.A word to the manufacturer. You have a good product here, my extremely finicky senior dog loves them. 1/2 a tablet for a dog under 25 pounds when these things are already tiny? Seems to indicate that you are aware of the dangers of the Maltodextrin, if not, please do your research and "remove it". If you need to add some sweetener, add blueberry or sweet potato to your formula. Trust me, the dogs will love it and you'll sell more products. Until then, I cannot recommend or use this product while it contains "Maltodextrin". I don't even eat products known to include it as an ingredient or any sugar alcohols as researchers are now starting to find serious problems caused by these artificial and so called natural sweeteners.

Not soft
I bought these because I believed they were a soft chew. They are not. They are hard, I have an elderly small dog , soft is all she can do and these are by no mean soft . So needless to say they will be donated to someone who has a small dog and can use them. Will not recommend if you are looking for soft chews.
