Crib Quilt Batting for Quilting,2PCS 45"X60" Natural Cotton Quilting Batting Fabric for Sewing

I have ordered at least 3 packages of your batting to make fabric bowl and plate holders for hot products coming out of the microwave. Getting them ready for a Juneteenth celebration. Your batting is soft and does not fall apart during sewing.

This batting is very soft and light. Easy to work with. Only issue is the fluff on one side gets all over everything. It seems not as tight of a weave on one side and it showed the lint all over my darker fabrics on the quilt. Makes me wonder how well is it going to hold together after being washed a few times.

I made a baby quilt with this (had to cut it down. I loved working with it and after machine quilting on my regular sewing machine the quilt was still very soft and fluffy instead of so stiff like quilts usually are. I was disappointed that it was made in china which i've been trying to avoid their products.

Product had yellowish stains in places and flaked.

I just received my craft size and crib size battings a few days ago. I opened the craft size, and was surprised at how soft and fluffy it is. This is not your ordinary batting, it is apparently hand made by the Amish. I very carefully and gently unfolded one piece and draped it over my ironing board to give it time to relax before I worked with it. Yesterday I rolled it onto my pool noodle in preparaation for layering, again handling it gently. Today I put my quilt sandwich together for the wall hanging I am making, using 505 basting spray. It layed down beautifully and I have had no problems with tearing and minimal shedding. I looked up the recommended stitch spacing and it recommends 1 inch spacing for stitching, but since this is a wall hanging made from a panel, I don't think I'll need to be quite that close. I will update this review if necessary after I have completed this project, but so far I have not found any problems with it. The shedding, as I said is minimal so far and that was easily cleaned up with a sticky lint roller. If this works out well, I will continue using it for small items, if not I'll shred it and use it to stuff pillows and toys. Either way, it is a good buy and I like it much better than poly fil.

Ordered two packages. One package was okay. The second package was thinner and had a piece of thin fabric holding the batting material together. It did separate easily and created a hole on the edge of the batting.

The batting was on the thin side, but since it was for a wall hanging, it didn't matter that much

This batting is the most terrible I have ever used in 50 years of quilting. It literally falls apart while trying to sew the quilting stitches on the quilt. What a waste of my money!!! I'm becoming more and more disappointed with Amazon and their products. I'm thinking of cancelling my account.

I liked that it was not too thick for the comforters I make.
