Mighty Marvel Masterworks: The Avengers Vol. 1 - The Coming Of The Avengers

My 6 year old loves this. He loved it just as much before he could read as he does now that he can.

Bought to catch up on the MCU didn't know antman and wasp were original members of the avengers!

The book is in excellent condition. It contains all of the first 12 comics of the original avengers. A blast from the past.

Great Origin issues of the Avengers at a Great Price! 240 pages of quality original comics reprinted in full color. Much more for your money than the original Marvel Masterworks volumes of years ago. Stan Lee & Jack Kirby created many titles for Marvel and this one stands out the most to me because it features some of my favorite Marvel heroes and villains. Volume 2 is also Great! Thor, Iron Man, Hulk, Ant-Man & Wasp begin this adventure. Later the line-up changes to Thor, Iron Man, Hulk, Giant-Man, Wasp & Captain America! Alot of action, old-school style, before comics became "woke" in recent years. Good art & Good stories. Get both of these volumes today.

The Essentials are larger,in size and #of issues per book (these have typically 10, Essentials usually around 20),but these are actually better.More consistently priced (20 bucks usually), whereas the Essentials vary wildly.These are also color reprints,not B&W like The Essentials collections.These are simply just more fun to read and look at.

I bought this book for my grandson who is in 1st grade and learning to read.I thought this exciting book would help him to want to read and that it would improve his reading.
