Great small coffee pot for camping and backpacking
Used for the first time - brewed coffee that was of good taste and consistency. Great small coffee pot for campstove or indoor range.

Disappointed!
I've tried most reasonable ways to make coffee, even the melitta. I have an aeropress which I also like a lot. But I do drink a lot of coffee (it doesn't keep me up at night) so I find the percolator makes enough coffee to last me all day and it makes much better tasting coffee (to me) than a drip pot. I had to buy a new percolator because I forgot to turn the one I had off and totally destroyed it. Another good thing (usually) about a percolator over the electric drip pot is that you get to exercise your memory with a percolator - otherwise you ruin your pot. I just got sidetracked one day, but had it for years - and a good memory (usually). This one seems to have larger holes in the basket than my old one and I have had to learn to grind my beans a bit less than I did before otherwise I'm inundated with coffee grounds. Other than that, I have no complaints and that one was easily fixed. I do like the silicone handle as well as it makes it easier and safer to pick up.So I'm adding this after six months of use. This percolator falls far short of my previous one. Where I needed no filters, with this one I use one under and one over the coffee grounds. And still I need to use a strainer to pour my coffee. Yesterday, after six short months, a shard of glass broke off from the glass. And no, I neither threw the pot against the wall nor dropped it on the floor. I had just made coffee and a piece of the glass just broke off, presumably from the heat after making a pot of coffee. I could buy a new glass top, but considering how disappointed I am in this pot, I think I'm just going to put a hint out to my children that as a Winter Solstice gift, I'd like a different (specified) percolator. It's pretty awful that a pot that should last a lifetime (unless you forget it on the stove as I did with my previous one), lasted six short months.

Good percolator
It was hard to find a stainless steel percolatorthat was sturdy ..... the handle gets a bit hot but that’s not a problem for me

Really great product
I love making coffee this way, and this stainless steel coffee perculator works great. I especially like the fact that the knob at the top is glass, not plastic

Good percolater
Arrived on time. Have only used once so far so cannot attest to its long-term durability. It's compact and comfortable in my hand. My first brewed pot came out surprisingly well, having not used a percolater ever! I bought mainly for emergency use when power goes out. I do have one warning: when washing by hand, be aware there may be sharp edges. I took a nail file to them and they're now fine. The markings inside the pot for measuring are extremely hard to see. I just made a line with a marker.
