...this oem Seiko band replacement has a lot of character and works just fine for me. I highly recommend.
I purchased this Seiko Jubilee-Style bracelet as an alternative band to use with my Seiko SKX009, that originally came with a rubber strap..The round ends fit perfectly to the shape of the watch. The links are solid and the variation in polishing and brushing of the links is gorgeous. The inside links having a highly polished finish while the outside links having a brushed finish. The sides/edge of the outside links again have the high polish used on the inside links. The clasp not exactly high end, but is better than average and has a fold over bar to make it a little more secure.Overall, this Seiko Jubilee-Style 22mm band is also very well constructed.Other reviewers may have noted that the band is a bit noisy, which it is. I frankly love that character that the "noisiness" adds to the strap.Lastly, in my opinion, is one of the most comfortable metal bracelets out there....regardless of price. In closing, I fully realize that there are better replacement bracelets for your Seiko skx. I heard that they are less noisy, the clasp is more high end and have sturdier (read heavier) links. For a while, I was on the ropes on deciding what to get. I do not regret at all going for this less expensive option. It may be less superior than other Seiko skx replacement bands that are out there, but this oem Seiko band replacement has a lot of character and works just fine for me. I highly recommend.

Perfect Fit on my 1982 Pepsi Divers Watch 7S26 Movement
I purchased my watch new at the base exchange in 1982. It's a great watch. I've had to replace the band 3 times over the years. After a while, the clasps wear and can come loose easily. This Seiko jubilee style band is an exact fit and looks great on the watch. It's heavy, smooth and has a finish that matches the watch. It comes with 2 new spring bars. My wrist measures 7.25 inches around. I had to remove one link and it took about 10 minutes using my watch band tools. The band is still a little loose, but not so much that the watch can spin around on my wrist. I don't think I could remove a second link without it being too snug. When you remove a link, make sure that you are pushing the pins in the direction indicated on the link. The nice thing about this band is that it doesn't pull your hair out and it is very comfortable on the wrist. I may purchase a second one just to have a spare when the time comes.

The whole is greater than the sum of the parts.
I was somewhat hesitant to buy this bracelet due to the various negative reviews. Everyone is entitled to their opinion...but for those who trash this bracelet and give it 1 star, they are wrong! If someone wants to say there are better 3rd party bracelets, that may be true but you will pay over twice what this bracelet costs. Some complain about the jangly build but that is a jubilee bracelet. What they overlook is the bracelet is extremely comfortable..it just wraps around your wrist and you forget it is there.Build qualilty is very good. It is a combination of solid and folded links. Yes, the clasp is stamped metal but it is a thick heavy guage that does not feel cheap or flimsy.Fit and finish are excellent. Let me underscore the "fit" aspect. The end pieces will fit your SKX007/009/A35/173 (etc.) perfectly, giving a finished classic look. The only crticism I have is that the clasp does not have a spring release. When new, you have to pry it with your thumbnail carefully until it loosens/wears in a little.I looked and looked at all the options and have come to the conclusion that at $30 or so, this is the deal. There is nothing better. In fact, after buying one, I liked it so much that I bought two more...one for another SKX and the other for a customization project. One final consideration, the bracelet was made for the SKX, giving it the final classic Seiko diver watch look that easily walks the line between sport, dress and tool watch. This is a winner!

Wrong spring pins for many watch cases, but still a great band
I had to buy extra spring pins (around $7 USD). to make this watch compatible with my Casio Duro watch. The second shoulder on the pin tips are wider than normal, which keeps the pins from seating into the case securely. Before I understood the problem, I had the jubilee band pop open twice as I was wearing the watch. I could have lost my watch either time but luckily didn't.The spring pins that worked for me have the description "Seiko Original Spring Bar Pins Stainless Steel Divers Attaching Watch Bands 22 MM Thickness Set of 2". They have thinner tips and the spring bar barrel fits pretty snugly into the band's end links. Note that if there is any jingle noise where the spring pins are, you can remove it with needle nose pliers. First wrap the plier tips in tape to prevent leaving visible scratches on the band's end links. Then put the spring bars in place and carefully squeeze the band's end link to fit around the spring bar, right in the center of the spring bar. It takes just a few minutes and only needs to be done once.
