The threads not properly cut and screwing in the poles, which should take 15 seconds, took over an hour. Had to get special gloves and use considerable strength to get top and bottom poles to screw in. Maybe just ours. But when done, easy to put in ground and looks good. From other reviews, likely copper will chip off, not sure the birds will complain.

The birds love it. So easy to clean. I was worried it would get hot, but it does not. Yes, it oxidizes, it makes it more authentic. Plus the birds don’t care about that. Great purchase.

Somehow I managed to convince myself this was going to be larger, but it is still beautiful and well made. Enjoying my morning routine with coffee and add water to it. Birds love it.

After filling with water, after the level went down about 1/2 inch, a dark ring formed above the new level of the water. I have not tried to clean this - it is not dirt, but may be oxidation, so perhaps a copper cleaner? It is not the beautiful green patina that typically forms on copper exposed to the elements.

Nice heavy copper bowl. The stand is simple, easy to assemble, and very stable.

Petit un peu

The black metal base that holds the bath looks like it was welded incorrectly so it does not hold the bath level. The birds don't seem to care but if this was placed somewhere that I'm directly looking at it all the time, it would bother me.

I bought this to attract more birds to my yard. Within about a week, they discovered it and started using it. I hung it in a tree where I hang the bird feeder during the winter. I love it because it is small enough for me to lift, clean and refill and it actually hangs perfectly level - which most things don’t! I love the colour too, as it looks natural. I have only had it for about 3 weeks but it seems to be durable.

Looks like it will be easy to change water often and clean. I have not installed it yet but I imagine it needs to be installed at a location where it is easy to reach (to change and add water) and where there is not too much wind as the water may spill out if the wind is strong.

Easy to assemble, cute and simple nice to look at birds using it from the deck, however after 2 uses of putting water in it now has this permanent dark ring stain inside that I can't seem to remove so that's a big disappointment. Probably won't be purchasing another one.
