This thing is absolutely awesome! The attention to detail is unmatched by anything I have seen. This is for real a model blue angel. There seems to be a big misunderstanding in the reviews. It seems that everyone thinks this is a real quick easy to assemble toy but it is far from it. This particular model took my about 4 or 5 hours to put together. There are pieces that you will most likely need a magnifying glass. Tweezers and a flat head screwdriver are pretty much required to put this together. If you are looking for a new cheap hobby this is it. This was one of the most fun models I have ever put together. Do yourself a favor and just give it a try.

This is one of the better Metal Earth projects I've done. Premium look and feel and holds together very well.

I've never done one of these kits, but I do a lot of hobby building and miniature painting. I'm pretty handy with tools and magnifying glasses. I thought I was prepared.I was wrong.These things are filled with lots of tiny fiddly parts that are difficult to get off the plate and difficult to fold correctly and difficult to assemble. It's all difficult difficult lemon difficult. I always say that every project is easy with the right tools but no, this project is difficult even with good tools.Luckily, the kit comes with extras of the most problematic pieces and I gave it an extra star just for that. I still didn't make it to the end. I gave up before I made big mistakes trying to roll and fold big pieces that didn't have margins for error.My friend who does dent repair on cars and is very good at precision work on metal finished it. It's gorgeous and makes for a great display piece. But I'll never buy another one because it's just too hard and I do projects to relax not be frustrated for hours on end.I wanted this to be better. They're so gorgeous and the detailing is incredible. It should have been something I enjoyed. It wasn't.

I am overall satisfied with what was presented at this price point. However, even with a set of pliers and patience, I could not get a few sections to fit nicely with each other. Furthermore, the curvature of the jet is difficult to achieve without much bending and rolling. Instructions were decent but not always the most helpful. I am satisfied with the size and the depth in detail, however I wish the building process was more sturdy. This is not an easy set in my opinion but as a display piece, I can’t argue with the price.

Excellent premium series model. Medium difficulty. The blue is more properly navy than what is shown in some photos. Excellent base display pose. Highly recommend.
