Firstly, this grill does exactly as advertised and is of a decent quality material.The biggest problem I had was the size.This was my first Hog roast cook, so I didnt know what to expect. This grill is rated for 50KG so I ordered a hog that was slightly under 50KG. In hindsight, I should have unpacked the grill to measure the length of the usable dimensions before ordering the hog with my butcher.Lets just say a 50KG pig is never going to fit on this grill unless you make some serious cuts or have a very short fat pig.I ended up cutting off the head and shoulders down to the 4th ribs, and some major surgery on the rear haunches in order to squeeze it onto the rail with only 35KG of weight left of the hog. The usable length to get the spike and leg brace on is around 83cm so be careful when ordering your hog for use on this grill, or you may end up with a significant amount of back yard surgery.I do not blame the manufacturer for this issue, it is as advertised, and would probably work for 50KG of something more not as long..

Did what it is supposed to, made a good job of spit roasting a pig on a cold Boxing Day in the north of Scotland!Could do with a better way of adjusting the height of the spit bar when in use.
