Delicious
These are delicious. So good you almost don't want to share with the kids.

a whole lotta sweet at a not too great price
my kids liked these, well, one of them did. my 6 year old was with me in thinking these are too sweet. they do taste like birthday cake so i guess sweet is implied. the cost per serving however is a bit steep for me. if you eat only organic and want to treat yourself now and then these might be good. for me, ill stick to regular cookies at a much more palatable price.

Very very sweet
These little snacks are really tasty, but we warned: they're very, very sweet! They absolutely have that sugar sprinkle birthday cake flavor, and you can somewhat see the sprinkles in the cookie, but the look overall is underwhelming. They're slightly crumbly, but not so much that you'd need to eat these over a trash can. The crackers aren't dry, and the cookie overall tastes a bit better when warmed, as the cookie seems to absorb a little more of the moisture in the cream. If you have a prominent sweet tooth, you'll likely love these. As someone who likes sweets but not overly sweet treats, I feel that these are fine to have just one everyone once I'm a while, maybe half. The cookies have a slight perforation in the middle to help break them in half, which is a really nice touch. The boxes are long and the top doesn't have any sort of tab to keep it shut. The cookies are in a plastic tray that opens lengthwise, so the tray needs to be laid flat and pulled out of the box to access the cookies. For these reasons, I just transferred the cookies to a separate baggie.

Tasty and Fairly Sweet - Love the Vanilla Cake Flavor
If you love creme-filled cookies like the Trader Joe’s "These Sprinkles Walk Into a Sandwich" Cookie, you'll probably love the Annie's Organic Graham Sandwich Cookies in Birthday Cake. The cookies are fresh, buttery, and filled with lots of creamy buttercream frosting-like filling. The cookie essentially tastes like a good sprinkle birthday cake in cookie form. The cookies come in a long, single-row sleeve, and each box contains 12 cookies, which is more than enough for our family to share. Like most desserts, these cookies are by no means healthy, but they do include ingredients that are a bit cleaner than other mass-produced cookies. They were good enough for the kids to ask for them again, and while I wouldn't recommend buying them often because they are that decadent, they're definitely good enough for me to not mind ordering them on occasion. If you love sweet, cream-filled vanilla cookies, this is definitely one that is worth trying.

Yummy...But...
If you like sugary treats, you will love these, but I'm not sure they're suitable for kids, which is clearly who they're intended for. According to the Nutrition Facts, the serving size is 2 cookies which contain a whopping 15g of sugar! For perspective, that's over three teaspoons of sugar in every two cookies! The RDA for added sugars for children is less than six teaspoons per day, so two cookies contain more than half of the sugar kids should eat through the course of an entire day! The RDA listed on the label is for adults, not kids, so keep that in mind if you're looking for an organic snack for your little ones. While you can feel good about these being organic, you're really just eating a mix of sugar (the first ingredient, and therefore most prevalent), flour (a simple carb/easily converted to sugar), and fat. As an occasional treat, these would be fine, but they're definitely a *treat* not a healthy snack option. With just 12 cookies per box, it would be easy to eat half a box in one go (they are pretty addictive!), so it would be easy to far and away exceed your daily sugar intake just by eating these and no other sugars for the rest of the day. Is anybody still wondering why America has an obesity problem? Personally, I expect more from organic products, which have a reputation as being a *healthier* choice. Aside from being organic, these aren't healthy in any kind of way. As a sidebar, I believe nutrition labels should be required to be posted for food products sold online. I'm actually surprised that it was not included in the posting for this Annie's product, so I'm posting it as part of this review. I find that approach moderately deceptive, even though the ingredients are clearly part of the listing, it doesn't clue you into the serving size or the nutritional attributes those ingredients contain.

Very sweet and lots came broken
My kids absolutely loved these cookies. I actually do too, though they are simply far too sweet for my husband (which I agree, they are super-duper sweet). I actually think these would be too much for a lot of adults and even some kids, to be honest. These cookies are an excellent reminder that just because an item is labeled as "organic" or "GMO free", it doesn't make that product any more healthy for you than other brands. Also, at first it felt like we got a lot. I wasn't sure where I was going to put six boxes, lol. But somehow we've blown through three packages super fast. My guess is because not that many cookies come in each package. At least compared to other brands. And all three that we've opened so far had busted cookies on one end. The packaging isn't very sturdy. But like I said, my kids and I really liked them. If I found the price was acceptable, I would buy these again.

A Hit here
When I got these in and opened the first box to test and taste them, it disappeared super quick. I'm already on the second box in less than 24 hours. My kids loved them though my older daughter thought they had a weird taste, which is weird for her. My youngest didn't think anything of them other than the fact that they had the required sugar that she wants. my husband thought that they were quite sweet although they only have 14 grams of sugar between 2 sandwiches so not too horrible. They were fresh and are great for snacks and school lunches.

Perfect for birthday celebrations at school -- less messy than cupcakes
I sent my daughter to school on her birthday with 3 boxes of these on her birthday. She said everyone loved them. I prefer these "Birthday Cake" cookies over sending cupcakes as it is less mess overall for the teacher and so much easier for me since I can just put them into her backpack. We have 3 more boxes left which I will use for my son's birthday in a couple months. So happy to have found these.Annie's Organic Graham Sandwich Cookies, Birthday Cake, 12 Cookies, 8 oz. (Pack of 6)
