Mellow Naturalista Classic 12 Inch Solid Wood Platform Bed with Wooden Slats, Cal King, Natural Pine

This frame is solid wood, fantastic quality, and feels so luxe for such a low price point. I love that it’s a lower platform but still leaves room to store things underneath. Great for a small bedroom in particular to lower the visual weight yet allow room for storage. Very easy and fairly quick to put together, coming from a single woman with no construction skills. The only downside is no headboard, but at this price point you can’t be too picky, and it’d be easy enough to custom make one. All in all it’s a great buy and would highly recommend!

We ended up getting the incorrect color, wanted Pine received Expresso. However, Amazon helped up out and we ended up happy! The Expresso is beautiful, not too dark.I’ll start by saying THANK YOU for wrapping the styrofoam. The tools sent were also great! The velcro to help the slats stay in place is very needed and appreciated.My daughter is extremely happy, no noises so far, it’s sturdy, solid, and was super easy to set up alone. For sure happy and will be back to purchase another for my own bed!

We bought the full size frame for our guest room and put a quality mattress over it covered with a pretty neutral-color comforter and accent pillows. The result was an awesome, sturdy, practical, comfortable and beautifully bed. If you are looking for a simple platform bed that is sturdy and easy to assemble, this is the one for you. I recommend.

I bought the full size frame for my guest room. It went together quickly and the frame itself is pretty sturdy. The only drawback is that the slats are glued to a fabric border with velcro attached to the underside of that fabric border. The slats are thin both in height and width. The stats are placed on the velcro bands on either side of the inside of the frame. It's pretty flimsy it there are two adults sleeping in that bed. For a guest room that is rarely used, it is fine.

Very easy assembly, took about 40 mins. Everything needed was included plus extra screws. Frame itself is sturdy and looks great, no squeaks or noises.

This is a well-made inexpensive bed. It looks nice is easy to assemble and it’s very solid. I have purchased other beds on Amazon and I found this one superior in overall quality.There is nothing wrong with the zinus beds. They are just fine. I just found this one a little bit better made a little more solid a little better looking for about the same price.

Actual wood. Not sure what kind, but it's not MDF, or some other pseudo-wood. Instructions aren't the greatest, but it's quite simple to understand how it goes together. They include a little ratchet (pictured) which makes everything fast and easy. (They include a regular L-shaped hex as well, I guess for people who are daunted by a ratchet?)I was a little worried because one corner of the box had a nasty ding. (See pic) But it's double-boxed and everything was fine. They even put the styrofoam packing in plastic bags, so those little beads don't get all over the place.The design and engineering is quite good. I put it together by myself. Unpacking and assembly took less than an hour. The hardest part of the entire process was getting the slats on. They are attached with velcro, so it took a bit of patience to get them lined up. Overall, very pleased with the quality and thought that went into this under-$100 platform bed (I got the twin.) And including the ratchet was a nice touch.

Super facile à assembler, le bois est sublime et solide. On l’adore, il y a des anti-dérapents à coller sous les pattes de lit pour eviter qu’il bouge et des bandes collantes pour pas que le matelas bouge, le meilleure lit que j’ai eue de toute ma vie sans blague!

First of all, it came 2 days early, easy assembly, beautiful finish and colour (I ordered espresso) great price too. I would recommend this bed to any and everyone.

It isn't even. The middle posts are not leveled on the ground. The adhesive pads for the bottom of the legs is awful, it slides off if you move the bed an inch. The legs on the middle sides are also barely touching the floor. Is this by design or what?It's far too heavy and big to return though. So I guess it stays here.
