Minka LaveryWall Light Fixtures Harbour Point 5173-249 Glass Reversible 300w (7"H x 19"W) Vanity Light in Brass

We purchased a pair and only opened one. What we found was simply not acceptable for an $85 each purchase. First, and foremost, this product is NOT as advertised in the photo, i.e. it has fastening screws on BOTH sides of the product. This is one of the main reasons we picked this product as it did not have any side screws. Upon further inspection we found a large blemish on the front right side and several small scratches and one deep scratch – we did not want to make any attempt to rub them out and potentially ruin the finish, but this too is totally unacceptable for any product we would purchase and especially at this cost level. The back unit is simply a piece of cheap tin with a finish on it!!! I have included some photos as to the quality and screws. We have learned that if the photo does not show how it mounts - do not buy it! We also looked at the Amazon Brand wall sconce – not exactly the style we wanted, but we know that Amazon puts quality into what they put their name on. We are returning this product!

Absolutely a great styled fixture and puts out a lot of light. The color is a pretty matte gold. In the photos online, the finish appears to have antiquing, my 4 fixtures do not. Can be hung with lights up or down. Would choose these again!

Installed in our guest bath with the lights facing down, and it works beautifully. The finish blends well with our other satin nickel accessories by other brands, and the frosted glass softens the light without making it to dim. We did end up using two 100 watt equivalent LEDs for extra light, since a dim bathroom is a pet peeve of mine. (We installed it on a dimmer for guests who want less light) But it would probably be just fine with two 60 watt equivalent bulbs.

I've been looking for a brushed nickel vanity light for my bathroom and I've even returned some due to poor quality. But this one is a winner! I bought two of them, and the 'fit & finish" is extremely high quality. They both arrived boxed perfectly with the brushed nickel and frosted glass in flawless condition. Kudos to Minka-Lavery for truly having a quality control program that works. And what an amazing value for how much you pay for these fixtures. I highly recommend these lights and this manufacturer. You won't regret it.PS: The 11.25" fixture is the 2-light version just like the picture. They have a typo on this listing saying that it's the '3 Light' version.

I’m mostly happy with these. I bought four for my living room to replace some old fashioned ones. The gold tone on these is a bit much; wish it were toned down. But much better than I had and a reasonable price.

Way brighter gold than I was expecting. But it's a well made sconce and I love the style. I may return it or I might try spray painting the fixture a more antique brass color.
