If I would have had more time after realizing it was so short I would have got an extender. But my event was the next day. Some people like it and look cute in their reviews with it short and some reviews had it longer the way I would like it but didn't mention an extender so I didn't realize. The gold is also more orangish yellow not really a gold plated look.

PROS:I loved this necklace when I wore it to Disney Land. It matched my outfit perfectly, was the same size as advertised, and had a beautiful red color to it.CONS:While it was beautiful, it didn’t last so long. I wore it on a very hot day and was walking all day long so I was as a result sweating all day. Because of this, a couple of weeks later I realized it was not tarnish resistant. I got in about 10 uses of it before the wearability was no longer.Therefore, I would say it was worth the value of money I paid for. You pay cheap that’s what you get as well. Great for outfits you know you’ll only be wearing once or twice.

Blue in several areas, but clear near the sides and edges. It's as the glass was badly stained. The stone is large enough to notice the lack of full, rich color. Overall, very cheap appearance, especially against the yellow finish on the case and chain.
