Product Description

Making connections on your ElectroBraid fence has never been
easier! ElectroBraid Copper Split Bolt Connectors are
specifically designed to prevent a loss of electricity when
making connections along the fence perimeter. These copper-coated
split bolt connectors will not rust or corrode over time, nor
through weathering. Use them when making connections between the
charger, grounding rods, and the fence line. To use the
ElectroBraid Copper Split Bolt Connectors, simply start by taping
and singeing the Braid ends that need connected. Next, loosen two
of the connectors so they can slide over the Braid ends. Ensure
that the ends overlap about four inches to form a solid
connection. Lastly, tighten the connectors which will keep the
Braid held in place. If repairs or revisions need to be made to
the fence, once again loosen connectors to make any adjustments.

Easily customize your ElectroBraid fencing system to fit your
unique space with this pack of 10 copper split bolt connectors.
Part of the ElectroBraid electric fencing system, the bolt
connectors allow you to connect one braided rope to another,
helping you reach all of your electric fence posts--even ones
located far apart.
The ElectroBraid's outer braided jacket acts like boxing ropes,
absorbing force and springing back. (View larger

). The ElectroBraid is a permanent electric fencing system
designed to provide a safe and secure horse enclosure. Durable
and easy to install, the ElectroBraid can stand alone as a
permanent perimeter fence or can be moved around for rotational
grazing for horses, sheep, cattle, and other livestock. You can
also use it to exclude animals from crops, airfields, and
highways. And it does it all for a fraction of the cost of other
fencing systems.
Horses love the ElectroBraid's design, which is highly visible
yet doesn't feel restrictive. (View larger

How it Works
------------
The ElectroBraid combines resilience with barrier strength. The
fence features an outer braided jacket made of a high-grade
polyester fiber--the same type used in auto seat belts and
parachute harnesses. Just like a boxing ring, the ElectroBraid
absorbs force and springs back. As a result, the ElectroBraid can
absorb the energy of a panicked horse at full gallop and bounce
the horse back with no harm to horse or fence.
Horses love it, too. Whereas traditional electric cattle fencing
uses small-diameter steel wires that are hard for horses to see,
the ropes of the ElectroBraid are highly visible. At the same
time, the fencing doesn't feel restrictive to horses. As herd
animals, horses are born to roam free in wide-open spaces. With
the ElectroBraid fence, horses can see each other and stallions
can see their mares. There are no places for predators to hide,
and horses won't pace up and down their fence line. Owners say
horses are more relaxed, because they can see you and you can see
them.
Technology
----------
Standard electric rope can fray under tension and needs constant
tightening. By contrast, ElectroBraid fencing is dimensionally
stable because of its braided-over-inner-core construction, which
shrinks back to its original length even after stretching. The
ElectroBraid also uses copper wire conductors rather than the
parallel electric conductors within woven electrical horse tape.
Because the copper conductors are formed in helical-coil-like
springs, they stretch and bend while letting the fiber strands
take all the tension. More UV-resistant than other synthetics,
the ElectroBraid boasts a breaking strength of 300 pounds.
The ElectroBraid is both a physical barrier and a psychological
deterrent. Once a horse receives a shock, it won't rub against or
crib on the fence again. It's the perfect fence for large and
small herds alike.
