Great look, solidly built
If you’re shopping for one of these then you know how many hundreds of unheard of companies make these things. I’m very happy with this delta pot filler (and I bought the matching kitchen faucet, btw…both are awesome!). The look is exactly what I wanted, although that’s personal choice, but the build of this thing is really what you’re paying for and it’s worth it. Solid as a rock and built by Delta. Considering it hangs over my cooktop, where there is no drain, I wouldn’t trust anything else. Yes, it’s a lot more $$ than the others you see on Amazon but that’s not really a fair comparison. If you want cheap, that’s easy to find. As far as installation, that all depends on the water pipe connection you have coming out of your wall. If it’s a threaded bib then this will be pretty straightforward.

Well made pot filler!
I asked some plumbing friends about these pot fillers and one recommendation was not to purchase a cheap one. I decided against the even higher priced and against the $100-$200 items. I have worked with Delta before and knowing their products are quality and backed by a solid brand, purchased this one, including for style. Everything works well and once I git the right nipple for the in wall plumbing, it was just a matter of screwing it on. No leaks, etc. all good. I will do my best to update this review in another year or more about how well it works over time. We've had it in for about two months now and no leaks, works very well and looks great!

Heavy duty
Very high quality. I have two. One over coffee pot and one over stove. Easy to use and doesn’t drip.

Looks Good, not installed, will update.
It's Delta, it's priced higher than most (not all). It's not installed yet. The finish looks like all Champagne Bronze Delta fixtures. I will update after install.

Firehose flow rate
Installation:Installation was simple amd straightforward. I'm doing a kitchen remodel so the only really tough part would be if you didn't have a line plumbed already. But I installed pex with 90deg drop ear...mounted at a height that would clear any huge pot...then used a 2" brass nipple extension (you can het them in varying lengths. I had to purchase longer (3") #8 head screws to mount brass plate that came with faucet. Used teflon tape and pipe dope...screwed on but didn't overtighten and used locknut to place faucet in vertical position. Note: recommend getting the locknut a couple of threads onto the brass plate...it was a pain once the brass plate is in place. Also ...remove the aerator prior to flushing with water.Function:This thing is very heavy and solidly built. It extends easily and the stainless finish matched my Kraus hardware elsewhere in the kitchen. People often wonder "why do you need that?" ...well, the waterflow is massive, firehose like, so it's easy to fill a pot very quickly with minimal splashing. It's way more flow than a typical sink faucet. For that reason alone it's a winner and I'm not sure why more sites don't mention this fact. It of course removes at least one heavy lifting task as well....all depends on how much water you boil off. My wife questioned me spending the extra in our reno but she's been convinced now. For those who suggest a hot water line...I set it up to do this but then changed it after reading about why not to do that...just google it. You're not saving a whole lot of time using hot water source. Not much else to say other than if you do a kitchen reno, this is a must have. I will add that my wife has medical issues so picking up pots from sink to stove and making sure nothing flys out is no longer an issue. It at least saves one trip.If you're wondering why there are two valves, it helps prevent drips.

Be aware of unauthorized seller
Missing parts and broke during install. A lot of money wasted. Delta would not cover replacement due to unauthorized seller. Paid an additional 60$ for replacement part then the arm broke during install. I always thought delta was high end, not anymore. I ended up installing one I paid 79$ for and it works just fine.

Fit the space I had available
I purchased this pot filler because the original Delta unit would not fit the location we planned. I'm not sure why, possibly a contractor mistake. The original was too big.No local plumbing supply houses had anything that fit so after about an hour research and measuring I found this Delta unit. Interestingly, two local Delta dealers could find nothing. This came within a couple days of order and testing indicated it would fit. After installation it works very well. The valves and joints operate smoothly and make it much easier to fill a large pot on the stove.

Gorgeous to look at
Update: two years later and it’s just as fantastic as the day it was installed. No leaks, no scratches, still buffed and shiny. Highly recommend.I will update this once I’m able to use the pot filler as the kitchen is still under renovation but I have to say the weight, the feel and the look of this pot filler is second to none. It wasn’t cheap but you definitely get what you pay for and if you want a nice feature like this, choose Delta because the quality and workmanship is there. It’s beautiful and it’s going to be an awesome feature in my brand new kitchen.

Love this pot filler !!!
Installed easily and looks so sleek in the chrome finish. Water pressure very strong so big pots fill very quickly. Don’t know why I waited so long to install this. Great convenience to have in the kitchen. Would highly recommend.
