Have used other pressure cookers for many years, but more than happy with this Fissler Vitavit (recommended by several friends etc) I did have a problem with a faulty handle but Fissler (Germany HQ) went out of their way to help sort a replacement. The customer services side of Fissler is second to none - unlike many larger companies which seem to take ages to resolve any problems. The Vitavit works very well and used regularly for all kinds of cooking - saves time and energy with fast cooking times. It just needs the components kept clean, and easy to get replacement parts such as cooking rings, seals, valves etc as these can wear out in time. Best order some spares if and when purchasing any pressure cooker but Fissler have been around for a long time, so no worries on that side

I bought this for making chicken broth and other soups. Actually, I received this and really liked how steady this looks, but had to return it on the same day because of my misunderstanding of the capacity of this pressure cooker. I bought the 4.5L and thought that it meant that the cooker can handle up to 4L of broth. I read the instructions book and learned that when cooking broth or anything that "gurgles" and expands like soups and rice, we are only allowed to fill the cooker up to half of its full capacity.I have since returned this item and ordered the 6L version. That would allow me to make an adequate pot of broth, and it's not as expensive and as heavy as the 8L.

It helps to reduce my electricity costs. Amazing product.

Great German Quality at its best

If you think Fissler is a good and reliable brand, you are mistaken with this one. After only 4 uses, the steam started come out of the top of the handle - which means pressure is not building but escaping from there. I have changed the valve but no help. Not sure if the gasket change will help either - it is already very expensive and it should be worth your money - it definitely is not.

Very fast delivery, excellent customer service from this company, a very stylish and uncomplicated pressure cooker, no removeable weights to lose! Could have come with vegetable racks though.

Good weight to it, easy to use colour coded indicator, have made some great meals in it - my favourite being racks of ribs - only downside was the price but we got it as a present - but you pay for quality and this, a year on, cleans up like brand new every time and will last us years

Compré la olla en enero 2020, la utilizo regularmente, sigue como nueva (IMPORTANTE ¡no utilizar estropajo en la parte exterior!) y funciona de maravilla. Aunque en un primer momento puede parecer cara, vale la pena su compra.

Funziona perfettamente: emana pochissimo vapore, usata sul piano ad induzione per cuocere un arrosto richiede il n. 4 di potenza. Altre pentole usate cuocevano fra il 10/12. Il cibo non attacca, si lava perfettamente in lavastoviglie.Bellissima esteticamente.

Très simple d'utilisation, elle est parfaite pour les cuisines à l'américaine car elle fait très peu de bruit. La vapeur s'évacue latéralement, ce qui est moins dangereux.

Kocht einfach sehr gut, sehr schnell als ich mir gedacht habe. Und das essen schmeckt sehr gut. Zu erst hat mir diese Marke Fissler meine schwegerin empfehlt da sie hat eine schon seit 20 Jahre und sagte mir, dass SIe immer noch zufrieden ist wie beim erste Tag. Dann hebe ich gelesen eine andere Bewertung von Amazon da auch eien andere Kundin ganz viele und schöne Sachen über den Topf geschrieben hat. Und das reichte mir schon um den Topf ohne weitere gedanken zu kaufen. Ich habe sie nicht so lange her aber ich soll sagen dass ich derzeit sehr zufrieden bin und jetzt koche ich sehr gern und auch mit Lust.Danke Fissler für die gute Ware. ;)Danke Amazon dass Sie so tolle Produkte verkaufen.

Facile da usare, l’unica cosa è che non ha il cestello per cucinare a vapore (bisogna acquistare a parte). Questo marchio è una garanzia.
