Fragrance is good at first, but as time passes (I'd give it about 10-15 minutes) it begins to smell like an old rag.... I'm not sure if it's because this product is old in itself but something about it feels off.--Edit: I posted my initial review when I had first ordered/received it. After my review posted, I received a call/voicemail from a representative of the company who informed me that they had read my review and were going to be sending me a replacement. I received the replacement yesterday, and it smells fine! 4 stars because it would've been nice to receive a perfect product the first time. Nevertheless, thank you for the great customer service.

My issue is not the lavender oil itself but the plastic top and little plastic part on top of the bottle that is supposed to allow you to drip just one drop at a time onto something. Both for me were defective. We did take it on a 6 day cross country trip where it was possibly on its side, so that may have given the oil more time in contact with those plastic parts & broken down the plastic. For me a circle of plastic in the top actually came detached so it is no longer a safe sealed top, and also when I tried to invert it and drip one drop onto something it literally poured a small stream of oil through the teeny hole telling me that the hole was way too wide. Fortunately I also have lavender oil from a different brand that survived the trip and still works fine giving me one drop at a time, and will just use this one when I want a TON of lavender oil to come out.

This is the first time I have experienced lavender essential oil. It seems to have a calming effect, but something has been giving me headaches since I started using this. I'm not prone to headaches so I suspect the oil is the cause. That thought is not based on science or proof. Merely speculation. Other than that it's a cute little bottle of liquid that smells like lavender. If I experiment further with essential oils, I'll be able to update this review with something meaningful.

Love this scent and so does my husband. Use it in aromatherapy machine. I also read that you can use it on bruises when mixed with a carrier oil so using it for that also. The bruise is getting lighter so it must be working. The only reason I did not give this product 5 stars is the small bottle and the top. If there is a trick to controlling the number of drops with this type of top, I have not figured it out and tend to waste some because I cannot control the number of drops coming out. The product is 5 stars but the little bottle is just too difficult for me to control. I sure would like to see all these small bottles with the dropper tops, I'm sure they costs more.but would be worth it to accurately count drops or sell the dropper tops as an option. I would buy them.

I would give this seller a 10 start if I could...this product is compatible to young living I think it's even better because the price is affordable..the quality and packaging is a + the best thing yet found on Amazon..I wish I would have known sooner because I spent hundreds of dollars on young living..this is better than young living..everyone is questioning me to what is it that I'm wearing..smells amazing..I ordered 3 more at $7.99 price 😱 I bought more for gifts 🎁 thank you

Have to be honest (and don't get the creeps) - we bought this oil as a natural tick repellant for our two Aussies (dogs), on recommendation from several people we know. We often hike with our dogs through the extensively wooded acreage near our home so controlling the pests on site is not an option. The dogs are also on Frontline, which doesn't work as an actual repellant, and we kept finding live ticks on them crawling around. However, I think this stuff is working. We went for a hike this afternoon prior to the oil arriving. Once it got here we put some between the dogs' shoulder blades, lumbar area, and their four leg pits. The ticks were literally jumping ship onto our hardwood floors in the kitchen. We found 6 on the floor within 5 minutes of application. I'm crossing my fingers that this is not some strange coincidence. We also have eucalyptus and rose geranium oil coming from Amazon within the next week. We'll try them all to control this situation. We plan on trying it on ourselves as well since Deep Woods Off! doesn't seem to do the trick (and the Sportsman has a crazy high percentage of DEET that we only use when clearing brush). Sorry to give you all the creepy crawlies.

Seems to be a nice ok, hard to tell if it is better than others I tried. One thing that I don't understand is why the bottle doesn't mention being organic or grown in the Himalayas. It does say manufactured in California. I ordered 2 bottles after the price drop and when looking at the fill level, one was filled to the top of bottle curve and the other had a fill level just below the top of the label. I'd guess about 15-20% less. There was no smell or oil in the packaging so there was probably an error in filling the bottle.

I purchased this along with an oil diffuser and I love the scent! I use it in my bedroom and my husband; who doesn't like lavender, really likes the scent. I will definitely purchase this again!

First of all it never came with a nice packaging as seen on Amazon. I am an Aromatherapist and this Kashmiri Lavender is not the real thing from India...would not recommend to spend that kind of money on this product...it smells like Bulgarian Lavender which is a total different Lavender.Do Not waste your money.
