Food stays warm and does notspill
My Son’s been using us for school for a while now and I can say that it works great. He is in fifth grade and can open it by himself, but it stays tight enough that he can have pasta or things that have sauce and it does not get everywhere. It’s easy to clean even the seal comes off easily and goes back easily. He tosses it around everywhere in his lunchbox, and it has never spilled. His lunch is four hours from when his hot food goes in and he says it it’s always still warm.

Great Thermos
I really like this thermos. Well made and keeps things hot for a few hours. Tip, put really hot water in the thermos and close lid for 5 minutes then dump out the water and put your really hot soup or spaghetti etc in. Even after a few hours, everything is still hot enough that you have to blow on it to cool it before you eat it. Lastly, don’t over tighten the lid because it will jump a thread and be loose. But snug it and you will have no issues.

25 oz size gives hot soup after 5 hours, IF you keep it upright (eg contents don't touch lid)
I got the middle of the three sizes (25 oz) and measured the thermal time constant, starting with the thermos almost full of hot 89 C water. _IF_ you don't fill completely full, AND you keep it upright so the contents do not contact the inside of the lid, then you will loose half the temperature difference in every 4hr 45min time period. So, if you start with boiling (100C = 212 F) and it sits at room temperature around 21 C = 70 F, then after 4 hr 45 minutes, you lose half the temperature difference or about 40 C, so the contents will end up at 60 C = 140 F which is considered a good serving temperature for hot soup. So if your soup was boiling at 7:15 am, it should be the right temp at noon time. The body of this flask is only 5 mm thick, but the vacuum insulation works well. By contrast, the wide lid is simply plastic with some foam inside and it does not insulate so well, so if you store this sideways or inverted you will lose heat faster. The seal is formed by a thin silicone gasket around the top rim of the lid. It sealed fine for me as new, with clean threads. If you get that surface gunked up, and/or don't carefully thread on the lid and close it tightly, then no doubt it will leak. The smaller 18 oz size will not hold heat as long, while the larger 32 oz size can do better (IF it's filled full).

leaks!!
color is beautiful, size and wide mouth are great (18oz), but it leaks! I put hot water in it to warm the container before adding the warm food so it would maintain it's temperature til lunch time. When I tipped it over to test the seal/leakproof abilities the water came shooting out. Assumed the seal was misaligned, but I don't see anything wrong with it. Adjusted seal and tried again and same result. I usually only take dry like foods, so I'm going to keep it, but this is super disappointing. Food could have been a bit warmer, but overall the temp was alright.

Very happy!
Purchased this in 2 colors as my kiddos were unhappy with cold lunches. We are all very pleased so far. I pour boiling water in them for about 3 minutes to get the temperature up then put in the hot food such as rice and chicken or pasta etc. Usually I do this at 6:30am and my kids have lunch at 1:00pm and the food is still warm.

Loses temperature too quickly
Great size and design. Holds water without spilling a drop. However, I was expecting it to hold temps better. I left the canister at room temperature for 24 hours. Then, i added 155 degree water. It dropped to 125 degrees in three hours. Then, I took tomato soup. I had it boiling when i put it in the canister. Four hours later, it was pleasantly warm, but not hot. I have used different bottles that have kept soup warmer than this.
