Best Reusable Bottle EVER!
I cannot say enough positive things about this water bottle! I am super picky about my bottles, and this one met every single criteria.1. Stainless Steel: Better than plastic, keeps water cold, durable.2. Lid: I love how the drinking spout is small, since I am a klutz. I walk while I drink (busy at work) and tend to spill all over myself with wide-mouth openings. The spout is plastic, which I prefer because I don't like drinking off metal pieces (they have hit my teeth in the past and it is NOT a good feeling). The whole lid also comes off, which is a great feature because it makes it easy to wash the inside. Finally, it is leakproof. The twisted cap seems to seal the bottle very well, and I do not anticipate leakage in the future. (My last bottle started leaking after a couple months because of the poor seal).3. Handle: The handle is large enough to carry it using a couple fingers (I have the 40 oz, which can get heavy!). Also, the handle moves with your hand, making it more comfortable. This feature also means that the handle is less likely to snap off, which I've had happen before.I cannot think of one single downside. I do wish there were more color choices, but that's really a personal preference. Also, I wanted to note that mine does not have the black dot at the bottom. Another reviewer claimed that this was dangerous because it meant that there was lead in the bottle...

Really impressed with durability and a few clever ideas.
So first of all its an insulated water bottle, its not magic, it doesnt do tricks, etc. That said it is the most impressive water bottle of this type I have come across due to some thoughtful design and excellent quality.Every so often its necessary to remove the silicone gaskets on these water bottles to clean, which is a bit of a finicky process. Some lovely person at this company decided to put sturdy pull tabs on their gaskets to make them much easier to remove. Its a little thing, but when most water bottles are more or less the same its a very clever touch. On the quality and durability, I buy these to carry on a dual sport motorcycle, stuffed into a soft bag and cinched tight. After a single ride I expect any bottle to be worn bare in several spots. After three rides and around 300 miles, i can only find some slight scuffing of the coating in a few spots. This is really well made.

Not bad Takeya, not bad. I'll bend the knee.
I normally don't do reviews, but I thought I'd try it out. I have been looking for a solid stainless steel bottle for a while. Always checking the reviews, primarily the bad reviews. Came across this after a series of picking one then scrolling down and seeing another with more reviews.Ordered the grey Takeya 40oz and I gotta say, it's pretty solid. The arrival time was on point and unboxing was fairly simple. The bottle has a label around the bottle with the logos and descriptions. And under it has more in depth information. So if youre wondering where the directions are and stuff, rip it off and look at it, it's got more stuff under it to read like the use and care, warnings, etc.Texture is soft yet rough for a nice comfortable grip. The cap is smooth when you screw on and off.The rubber grid around the top feels very good when unscrewing the top.The plastic doesn't feel cheap like other tops or handles, which is great. I hate feeling or touching cheap plastic on things I'll use daily. The top cap can be tightened and loosened with one hand easily. It feels reallllllly smooth. The only part that "might" be a minus and or bit of a chore to clean, is the screw under the cap. So when you screw or unscrew it, it screws from the inside of the hole(took pics) not the outside, which isn't bad. The hole itself, easy to clean, just not the cap. Not really something to be a minus on compared to some other bottles with the straw or extra complex stuff on it. With a little extra time, you can still clean under the cap. Again, that's only potential minus if you hate hand washing things and if I had to give it some cons. All and all, very solid bottle if you wanna hike, travel or just have a daily bottle. My cold drinks are kept cold(as expected) and my hot coffee still burns my tongue hours later.Would recommend to my friends and family.Wish they had more color options though.

Love the 40 oz water bottle
This is my second Takeya water bottle. Unfortunately as it doesn't have a bottle boot to protect the original bottle, i've dropped it numerous times and so it's looked dinged up but still kept my drinks cold, unlike the hydro flask brand. New bottle looks great. Getting a bottle boot to keep the appearance nice and damage free

Wonderful Water Bottle
Had been drinking water from this vessel for a month now. Have yet to test the heat duration, but from the cold duration, as long as you put ice alongside the water into the flask it stays cold for nearly the advertised time. The amount of liquid the receptacle holds is also pretty nice for how much I drink. This canteen is quite easy to clean and maintain. The handle of the lid of the jug is also a pretty durable flexible plastic.Overall, I have been refilling and drinking water for roughly three times per day from this bottle for a month now. Washed this twice a week and have had no complaints so far.

Cost efficient alternative to name brands
This is one of many insulated drinking vessels I have owned (I lose these unfortunately too often). It keeps the drinks cold pretty well in 75 degree weather full of ice and filled with chilled water will still have a little ice the next day. The durability is decent as I have dropped it a few times and only very lightly dented.I appreciate the handle for portability, but miss having the straw (this one did not come with one) while driving.I have not had any issues with leaking either. It is easy to use and the top does not cross thread like some other brands.
