Fit like a glove!
Arrived a day after ordering. I bought a used Kitchen Aid, twin bowls and 3 beaters at a yardsale for 20 bucks. A 70's model used by church ladies, it looked as if it hadn't been cleaned for decades. An hour later with a bottle of KA-Boom from the dollar store the thing was like new and ran like a top. First batch of bread I had WAY too much flour on the counter. This device should remedy that for sure. I couldn't believe how well it fit and was impressed by the sturdiness-it has a lip which fits inside the bowl perfectly. If your on the fence..get it!

Fits My Mixer
This one piece plastic pour spout fits well on a refurb KitchenAid mixer that I recently purchased. It cleans well and is easy to move.

Fits my KSM103 K45 and K30 Mixing Bowls
I've wanted one of these for a long time but never purchased one because I didn't deem it necessary. I could just hold my left hand to the side of the bowl to catch flying flour as I poured with my right hand, right? Dumb. Flour always gets outside of the bowl. Every...single...time.This shield easily sets atop my K45 or K30 mixing bowl. However, it does not SNAP onto it. It easily slides around, so if you give it a good bump while funneling ingredients down it you could knock it off the bowl. If it snapped on, I'd have given it 5 stars. However, it may not be as compatible with so many bowls if it fit that tightly, so maybe an intentional design decision. This shield is ~1/2 the price of an OEM shield, so an overall great value.

Really helps when making cookies
The media could not be loaded. This pour shield fits my 4.5 quart Kitchenaid mixer perfectly. I often make double batches of chocolate chip cookies and freeze half for another time. While my mixer can handle it, the flour goes in last and it tends to fly everywhere no matter how slowly I pour it. The shield cuts down the amount of flour I lose by a lot. There's still one small section that stays open, so I get some flour splatter, but not near what I'd normally get. It is a bit more flexible than I expected, which doesn't affect how great it works, but you don't want to set anything heavy on it for sure. It washes up really easy, with no tight crevices that can hide batter. It works so well and helps keep the mess of baking to a minimum.

Fits my 4.5qt KitchenAid mixers...
I had been wanting a pour/splash guard for sometime, so I took the opportunity when I saw it for 15USD. I wanted to be sure it fit and worked before I decide to order a second one. I took it out of the box the second it arrived and it slid around the spindle and it sat snuggly on the top of the bowl. While it does flex a bit, the pour lip sticks out far enough that it makes pouring from a large measuring cup comfortable, such as when making cookies where the flour goes in last. It is also a boon when making mayonnaise as it comes out much smoother when you do not stop the mixer when adding your oil. Whipping cream is much easier, as it beating egg whites. While it may not be perfect, at 15USD it seems to be a good addition. I am rating it four stars. As always, your mileage and preferences may vary...

Does not fit KA pro series 5qt bowl
I must’ve not noticed this pourer was only for tilt head mixer bowls, but just so you all know, it definitely doesn’t fit the 5-quart metal mixing bowl on the KitchenAid pro mixer, the circumference is too small. The quality of the pourer feels great. Sturdy plastic, smooth all around with a seemingly seamless design. I attached it to a deep, flat edge ceramic mixing bowl we have and it pours clean. No overspill or messy post-pour drips. I can imagine this would work the same on the appropriate KA bowl. Thankfully, it’s still useful for us since I use the ceramic bowl I mentioned to mix and pour pancakes, now there will be no more batter spillage! Last, the pourer snaps in tight and did not pop off while testing. If that ever changes I’ll update this review.

Why Did I Wait So Long?
Well, after cursing my Kitchen-Aid mixer for so long because it's SO difficult to add ingredients to the bowl, I'm really happy to have this pouring shield. I tried measuring cups made to pour, and they're pretty useless on their own. The pouring shield fits perfectly on the 4.5-5 quart bowls and makes it really easy to add ingredients while mixing. On first usage, I was a bit careless about adding flour from a round measuring cup and missed a little, but once I realized I have to pay more attention it wasn't hard at all to get it all in the chute. Those pouring cups might have some use after all, as they'd make that process fool-proof!The pouring shield washes up nicely on the top rack of the dishwasher, so there's no reason to hesitate to use it (maybe that's just me). For too many years I've been pulling out the old hand mixer for quick tasks because the stand mixer was such a problem; I'm really happy that the remedy was so easy and affordable.
