Love B&B Charcoal
Large pieces along with medium size pieces of lump charcoal, a very good blend and it stays lit for long periods.

I like the burn
So far, so good. Long burn, different than what I've read. Nice chunks. I'm still evaluating. Grilled two tri-tips on small BGE @ 200 for 35 min. and imparted nice smoke flavor. Did a reverse sear and after pulling off the meat;, easily brought it up to searing temp. Seems ash content normal. Has an earthy oak flavor. Works for me.

B+B is LEGIT!!!
Tried B+B for the first time while quarantined with the family. Used it every night for a week straight and was really impressed. I’ve used them all: BGE, FOGO, Cowboy, etc but I feel B+B is the best. Here’s why:- bag was full of good sized pieces...almost logs- burned hot, got to high temp quickly, and maintained the high temp for extended period of time. (Ideal for pizza night)- rich flavor! I have to admit that B+B put a better Smokey flavor on the food. Not sure why it would be different than other lump charcoal but it certainly has a bolder smell and flavor...my family loved it. So good in fact, my neighbor Mr Keith almost broke the 6ft quarantine rule because he was dying to come get a taste of what he could smell from his backyard.

Caveat Emptor!
The product pictured for this item shows B&B 100% Oak Lump Charcoal No Additives. The product shipped is B&B Lump Charcoal WITH Oak, Premium Hardwoods Blend. Additionally, one bag is $30, 2 bags are $176.80, and 3 bags are $265.20!I’ve attempted to purchase the B&B 100% Oak Lump Charcoal from three different sources. What I find is the “With” Oak -Premium Hardwoods Blend is the product provided. What’s going here?I contacted a B&B representative and asked where I can purchase the 100% Oak Lump Charcoal pictured by this seller. They never answered the question even though I asked multiple times between sales pitches and “educating” me on oak species (they told me that their product is Post Oak because farmers use the tree to make fence posts! Ha!). Post Oak is a species of oak. Anyway, they never would tell me where I can purchase the product pictured here and I cannot find any seller that actually sells the 100% Oak Lump Charcoal that I desire.Caveat Emptor! If you expect to receive 100% Oak Lump Charcoal you will be disappointed. I’m not convinced that the product even exists. I’ve been to multiple retailers that claim on their websites that they have it but when I go to the store they are stocking the Blended Hardwoods in place of the 100% Oak.Seller refunded my money but it takes weeks. When you purchase they’ll spank that credit card in a flash though.😉
