Strong motor
Well the floor grinder that my dad built before I was born finally gave up the ghost. (They just don't make them like they used to! I don't know why it gave out after 50 years!) But this replacement did the trick. Didn't even have to modify the mounting holes. Grinder runs great. Well worth the money. Let's see if it last 50 years!

Not only for the professional.
Hello Mr. B here again,Recently, I replaced my house fan motor. The motor was an original from 1941 back when they built items to last. L O L. The motor originally was 1/3 hp. I increased the horsepower and because of the slotted mounting brackets once I disconnected the old motor it was very easy to mount the new motor and adjust it up and down, so the belt would run perfectly horizontal. There was multiple attachment points for the electric which covered every situation I could’ve came across. And the directions were self-explanatory as well. So in conclusion, anybody replacing a belt driven motor I would highly recommend this product, I am a commercial construction superintendent I have been in construction 40 years. As of this year I hit 40 years in construction. I would recommend this to any veteran, professional or hair homeowner! If you do not know anything about electric, please consult a professional! But I am very happy with this product.Until next time, Godspeed!Thank you for taking the time to read my review.Bryon Buckland (Mr. B)

Runs warm but seems ok
Used it for a furnace blower motor replacement. Ao smith motor died within 2 years. Simple hook up and works good so far. Only 4 stars because it runs a little warmer than the last one and where the wires connect it wasn't recessed enough to get the wire cover back on. I don't have 90 degree wire connectors or it wouldn't of been an issue. So far it works great. Time will tell
