Great Looking in the Tree

Well built, easy to use
I have been using plastic feeders for years. They break easily, since they get brittle under the sun.This feeder is metal and withstands sun, rain and abuse from squirrels. I can open the cover easily with one hand. Birds also liked it. All day long it is visited by different species.

Not squirrel proof
This bird feeder is advertised to be squirrel proof but it definitely is not. Squirrels get on the feeder and literally dump the bird seed on the ground

CLOGS EASILY; MOLD FORMS
The seeds clog easily. This results in seeds sticking together and getting moldy. You're left with big bunches of moldy seed that need to be cleared from the feeder repeatedly. Birds won't come near the feeders when this happens, which is too often and you are left with seed being wasted and having to throw the seed away. It's a shame because they design is attractive and really looks like it could work well. Bought a couple of months ago and really tried to give it a chance and work with it. Return window has closed. Cannot recommend.

Attracted birds but rain will ruin the food
I only fill up a few inches, otherwise our raining season will cause the bird food to go bad/mold. Not enough rain protection.

Not squirrel proof as advertisedSlide button is not adequate and gets pushed half way up the cable as the lid is not stopped from being lifted.Very annoying and am very unhappy and disappointed with this purchase for that reason!I also have other comment if someone wants to get back to me!
