Is this really durable compared to other products? what is the difference?
EDIT: After my review, I had a 4 time email conversation with Selkirk support and I am totally satisfied with their explanation and effort to understand and resolve the issue. If balls are made from harder materials, it will crack easily, If it is made from soft materials, its shape will deform. Keep the deformed ball ( don't throw away and they will come back to normal shape again). Trust me, I did not edit my review to get some freebee's from them. This is purely on helping other customer like me. I hope you understand my point here.-------------------It is too early too talk about durability of this product. I have seen some customer reviews and they talk about 1 year warranty is misleading. The warranty is not good if only one ball is cracked in 2 weeks or some time. They ( vendors) are asking for 12 balls damage, if 3 or 5 out of 12 is damaged, they wont help you. So figure it out yourself. Correct me, please if I am wrong. Now, I played with some balls. Here is what I experienced. Some of the balls lost its shape. ( more compared to x -40 balls. Due to lost shape, there is significant wobble with such balls and you decide to toss the ball in garbage can. Everyone on the courts decision is same. Now due to the smaller holes on the ball ( comparing to x40 again), windy and beautiful sunny weather, it swings ( curves) so much that even experienced players find it difficult to handle the curves. Now that is what I think that, this curve is because of that smaller holes placed between normal holes. I may be wrong. some times inconsistent bounce is also observed, so you must watch the ball and be ready to handle the low bounce situations.ONE more thing, weather is not in 45f or lower, since we are in March now. So can not say more about balls are cracking in lower 40s temperatures. That is my major complaint about x40 balls. So can't say anything about it until may be next year? I guess by next year we will have some improvements and new additions to the competition. If you like franklin x40. just stay with it. That is my last word till I find out more from my experience.

Worked Great
I liked the feel when I hit these - they also seem to be durable and have not had issues with them cracking. I like the standard color and they have good visibility.

Great balls, but they do crack
Cracked after two and a half weeks. I do hit hard, but still, come on. And the warranty is a scam - you have to get all 4 cracked, send them back (at your expense) for inspection, pay $6 and then maybe you'll get replacements.Still better than other balls though. I love the weight, firmness, flight pattern is true and straight, handles better in wind, can hit a better serve and drive...Just don't fall for the "warranty" promise

Good quality balls
They last a long time and don't crack like Franklin and the new Vulcan ball do. But they do get out of shape, and get a bit fuzzy after a couple hours of outdoor surface play. They have a bit more of a substantial weight to them, which is good in calm indoor and outdoor conditions, but they really shine when there is a breeze. They don't get blown around quite as much as the lighter balls do.So far they are the best balls that I have played.

Great outdoor pickleballs
Bought these for my wife so she can play pickle ball with her coworkers. They work great. They seem to hold up well. The last brand we bought got chewed up really easily.

Awesome balls
We are in Canada so they are not covered under warranty, having said that, we don’t care, we are all using them, they are not lasting a year, but they are outlasting everything else, and you get lots of spin and power out of them,

Warranty isn't valid in Canada
Good ball you pay a bit more as for Duras or Franklin but get a Warranty for 1 year . However if ball cracks (lasted in my case 6-8 weeks ) the warranty is only good for US purchases . Too bad

Poor Investment - No Star Rating
Usually use Franklin X40's, which break fairly easily in cooler weather. I bought a dozen of the Selkirk S1's because their a single mold guarantees they won't break. I have used 3 of the S1's I purchased and all 3 went out of round during their first use making them unplayable. I will be writing Selkirk to share my experience and hopefully they will be able to help me out.
