First let me say we are very happy with the purchase. Manual adult tricycles are hard to find locally. We researched many products. We bought this for our daughter who is unable to ride a two wheel bike due to her disabilities. She loves it!! That's what matters. The reason I didn't give it a 5 star is like all the other reviews, the instructions were not very good especially for a product that needs so many parts and safety needs. Due to Schwinn being soooo expensive we purchased this brand. The paint is pretty but not like bikes of old, its not an enamel, long lasting type of paint. Only time will tell how well this bike holds up.

Update: I am so impressed with this seller. They have gone above and beyond and made everything right. I have changed my rating because a seller that takes care of their customers is worth 5 stars.First off, I would like to say that the seller has been responsive in the issues with my new tricycle. But they seem to only want to compensate for some problems.From the getgo there were issues.In step one of assembling the derailleur, it was slightly bent. Then there ended up being a metal nub that was keeping the new derailleur from being installed properly.Took it to a bike shop and they did what they could to get things proper. But the metal nub was still an issue, so we had to grind it off.Next was the brakes. Back brakes don't work or rather the back wheel won't spin freely, that's even with the brakes completely disconnected (still haven't gotten that fixed and we aren't sure how to fix it). Front brakes don't work well and squeel when applied so we had to get new upgraded ones.The chain broke, they are sending a new one. I've had the bike a couple few weeks now and haven't been able to even leave the property with it.I get that it was a good price and it looks beautiful and I really want to be able to ride it. It's unfortunate that there have been so many issues straight out of the box.

I have had this tricycle for over two years. It took my husband and me a whole day to put it together. Not easy, so if you don't know anything about bikes, you are better of taking it to a bike shop. However, it’s so cheap that they may refuse to put it together. After riding it a couple of times, one of the tires got flat. We got a new one, and it got flat again. It turned out that there was a sharp area inside the wheel that was pinching it. We weren't able to set the speeds the right way, and one of the pedals broke. The chain broke. So we took it for a tune-up. The bike guy told us he had never seen a tire with so few treads, so we replaced all of them. I rode it once more after that last spring. I rode it twice this spring, and the right side wheel is now broken. We went to a bike shop to look for a replacement, and the store guy told us these bikes had the cheapest materials he had ever seen. With a defeated look (he had another one of these bikes in his shop that he was about to work on), he said he couldn't help us. So now we are stranded, trying to look for a good quality replacement. All and all, it turns out to be as expensive as buying a good one because of all the time and money we are spending in tuning it up and replacing parts. So my recommendation is to buy a tricycle locally where you can be assured that it's not going to break every time you ride it.Update: we were able to fix the wheel that was loosen and took it for a ride. The chain broke again. We took it to a bike shop and they said the derailer is also broken. The chain bent it when it snapped. They said it’s not worth it to repair it. So now I’m selling it as a prop, which I think is how it should be advertised.

Nuts and bolts provided don’t match instructions. One bolt was stripped. Have made 2 trips to hardware store so far and only partially completed.

Nice bike easy to put together, but if you don't have mechanical experience I suggest taking it to some one who does

I got this bike , and try to assemble this myself. When I got it out the package you could tell it was either bad or someone else tried to put it together and then took it apart and put it in a box and sent it back . and I was the lucky one to get it again. Needless to say I struggled very hard to put this bike together The frame was bent in the rear I had to bend it back The rear axle that was inside was not in the right place. That would be taken apart the gear and break and put back on. The front fork was bent. pieces were missing to hand brake snapped off . It took about 3 days to get this together. And before you ask, yes I am experienced in assembling bikes I've been doing it my whole life. if you get this bike and it's properly together you shouldn't have a problem assembling it. but I would make sure that it wasn't a return or I would definitely make sure that you can just find someone else to do it for you like a shop or something honestly I wish I could have just sent this bike back and got my money back but I had already spent so much time putting it together It wasn't worth it anymore The bike itself is very pretty but it's the worst experience I've had in a while.

The bike itself is great, for the price. However, you have to be an engineer to put the thing together! Fortunately, we have a friend who builds bikes at the bike store, but it still took him about three hours! Other than the assembly, no complaints! My wife loves the bike!
