The sound is beautiful. The quality is alot better than I expected. I'm so glad I made the decision to get this violin. I'm a 4 string violinist but wanted to try the 5 strings. I'm still learning how to play it as it's a bit different cause the strings are alot closer together. I added a couple finally touches with decals and so I'm glad I did because NOW ITS PERFECT.I have played violin for 35+ years

Good violin, big sound, playable,not expensive, and fast shipping (10 daysfrom China )...Just received, tuning up tookquite a time, and played a couple songs...One bad issue is that the bridge foot onlower (right) side isn't in line with the F holenotch but the violin is still in tune in highposition luckily... , the string action is verygood from the nut and along the fingerboard... Overall, this is a good violin for aamateur violinist like me. Worth to tryone, and thank you for all the hard work...

Arrived with what looked like a bridge that had been installed but then shifted, as opposed to a bridge that had never been installed. After fixing bridge and beginning to tune, two strings broke right up front. None of the pegs worked as they all slipped. Returning.

This violin was good for the price for sure but as far as craftsmanship goes it leaves quite a bit to be desired to make a 5 string violin they have to compensate for the extra string and they didn't seem to do this here so it makes it rather difficult to get used to playing and for what an extra low c string that can barely take the bow energy without blowing out the tone. Don't bother buying this unless for a beginner beginner who you wouldn't want to get a 5 string anyway...... looks good though and please fine tuned on all strings for crying out loud.

I play violin and teach and thought it would be great to show my students. One string snapped when I tried to tune it. It was already opened by someone else because the wrapper around the bow was half way down. I needed to set up the bridge and it's in this holder? As I would tune the last string it would come out. very hard to tune and also the pegs were not holding the note. I gave up and returned it. Bummer because it would have been fun to play.

At the price I paid for this instrument I wasn’t expecting much. I was delightfully surprised at the quality of the case, the beautiful finish and the absence of the drawbacks mentioned in the other reviews. The tuning pegs gripped nicely. The base for the bridge was perfectly aligned. My only issue is I put the bridge in and I didn’t check to see if there was any shipping padding inside the bridge base. I don’t feel like taking the bridge out so it would be nice if someone could tell me.
