Wasn't sure what to expect since they were very cheap in price. To my surprise they were very comfortable and durable. Love them, great buy! Definitely getting another pair.

Solid pair of boots if you're having to be on your feet constantly and even run short distances while conducting tactical maneuvers. Excellent fit and value for the price and convenient zipper. The weight is well-balanced for walking, marching, or light jogging. I'll definitely purchase this brand when these wear through. Styled exactly how I remember my best pair of Army boots.

Great boots, took a few minutes to break them in as they felt tight at first

I would not use the terms tactical or military with this boot myself, but it is a work boot. The fit to size was better then some other no name boots I have bought in the past. Materials feel like they should hold up to some abuse. All of the stitching that I have inspected is clean.My favorite feature on the boot is the zip up side. I really hate dealing with laces and these style boots are the only time I have to bother with it. All of my other shoes have a slip on method and are tight enough to me feet to work well.Overall it seems like a nice boot, but we will see if it holds up to some actual work.

I'm about a month into mine and the vinyl inside of the zipper is already cracking, but otherwise the boots are incredibly comfy right out of the box and I would pay $45 again for them, or 50 whatever I paid.

I initially bought the other model, the “trooper” which is very similar to this one, the “trooper pro”. The regular version has over 20k reviews and is being heavily promoted by amazon as opposed to this one. But I can assure you, this one is superior, especially in terms of comfort.I found the other model to be extremely uncomfortable, the shank was just under the insole, you could feel it under your heel and touch it and move it with your hand. The outsole is not as aggressive and there is no suede strip on the side near the ankle.This model, the “trooper pro” as indicated on the size label inside the tongue has a totally different construction, you don’t feel nor see the shank anymore. Instead the footbed is flat and the insole is different, better I would say. Comfort is night and day compared to the other one.The outsole feels grippier, softer material. Probably better on wet surface, not yet tested. The treads are much more aggressive and bigger. An improvement in my book.The suede and material seem identical, zippers relatively solid but not very smooth, they seem to catch here and there. The boots have a couple of imperfect stitches and some marks on the suede but nothing worth sending back.As for the size, I played safe and ordered a 12 regular width. I did order a size 11 in the other model but it was a little too short.I would have prefer a 11.5 but half sizes are not offered past size 10 and it’s a bummer. The boots feel a bit too long and wide so I tried them with double socks as I intend to wear them in the winter and it’s a good fit this way.Overall, very comfortable boots (Trooper Pro) as opposed to the regular (Trooper) A bit bulky, fine for walking but not quite sure for driving. We’ll see. Same thing for durability, only time will tell.
