Beautiful, fun dragon toy
My daughter wanted a dragon cake for her birthday, so we bought this to decorate her cake. She got to keep the toy when the cake was eaten, so it was an added bonus! This ice dragon toy is beautiful and well made. My daughter LOVES the fact that the wings move. She did over-rotate the wings and make one pop out of its socket, but it was easily popped back in, no harm done. The toy is sizable, and the wings do have some points on them—I don’t know if I’d hand this to a three year old, but I didn’t hesitate to let my 9 year old play with it.I foresee my daughter loving this one for a long time.

Awesome design
Good details but wings can pop off easy which might be in the design for safety or something. They go back on easy.

Looks better in person, honestly!
I was surprised at how beautiful this dragon was in person in comparison to the picture Amazon provides! Somehow it just looks . . . better. XD Which is good, really good. The crystal blue accents and scaly texture really brings it to life. Wings are kinda big actually, so make sure you've got plenty of shelf space wherever you plan to display your dragon. With its wings facing up, the figure's almost 8 inches tall, but just the body itself is closer to 4. As you probably figured out, the wings can also move a bit, so you can move them facing upward towards the sky or spread them out more like in my photo here. The ice dragon's jaw, however, cannot move like I believe the lava dragon's can (sold separately). The rest of the ice dragon is pretty stone stiff, so nothing else moves but its wings. As far as I know it's pretty durable too: its wing kinda got knocked against the wall once and it seems fine. XDTo sum it up, if you're looking for an ice dragon, this is the one to get. It's epic, pretty, and will make people do a double take. ^_^

Durable and well made figure
My boys love dragons and are very rough on their toys. This one has held up better than any other figure they have. The wings come off and snap easily back on, the head and jaws move nicely. They've played with it countless hours and it still looks new. (By this time, most of their toys are damaged from how rough they play with them). The detail on the toy is very nice and contributes to the imaginative play my sons do with it. If you're looking for a dragon action-figure for your kids, these are the ones to get.

Daughter loves it, but not the best quality
We ended up returning the first one we got because 1 wing kept falling out, which we realized was because of a crack near the connection point. When the replacement came we discovered there is a crack around the neck as part of the design, which seems like an unnecessary weak point to add s the neck does not turn or anything. The new one didn't have the excessive cracking by the wing connector so the wind fall out last often, but still not the sturdiness toy. Having said that, my dragon obsessed 7yo loves it. And the moving wings are a big selling point for her. Plus it's just a very cool looking dragon. She would definitely say it's worth the money; I'm not so sure but 🤷♀️.

Awesome fantasy toy
All Schleich are top quality, but the Eldrador monsters are a favorite in our house. I snagged this ice dragon on sale for $10 (from $30). That’s a fantastic price, making it a really affordable but high quality gift or stocking stuffer. If you’re buying at full price, I would recommend the Shadow Dragon or Lava Dragon over the Ice Dragon - in my opinion, those are much cooler looking and a bit more detailed, and possibly a little bigger. But, I still would’ve paid full price to add the ice dragon to our collection, so if you have the others, don’t hesitate on this ice dragon. It arrived new with tags and plastic protectors.

Schleich Eldrador Creatures Ice Dragon Toy Action Figure for Kids Ages 7-12
My 8 year old Grandnephew loves this dragon BUT, when he plays with it like kids do, the wings detach way too easy - they just pop off! It would have been so much better if the wings were on the dragon in "ball joints" - that way they could be moved but would not constantly come off the dragon (over and over). This is why durability got only 3 stars. If it is just going to sit on a shelf and be admired, it is perfect.
