CarharttMen's Waterproof 6" Moc Steel Toe Wedge Work Boot

These are some of the most comfortable boots I have owned at a price that is hard to beat. After a week or two they are breaking in nice and they are not super heavy. I’ve been walking upwards of 5-6 miles a day in these and so far they have been great!

Bought these for service plumbing work at a university. The steel toe was hard for my feet to get used to (I should’ve bought a wider size) but once broken in it was quite nice. Shoe is tight and supportive in the way a boot should be but doesn’t look bulky and overbearing. Comfortable fit once broken in and stylish boot as well. I might recommend getting the soft toe if you’re not sure that you need it. The waterproofing on this shoe is ridiculous! I love it! I can stand in a shower with the water pouring on my feet and walk out and wipe them off and back to a normal day. Best feature I didn’t know I needed.

Have had these for one week and haven’t broken them in yet but are amazing and very comfortable. I had gotten the steel toe and size up at 13 and they fit amazing. Definitely recommend these boots for work or soft toe to go out in , they definitely are a versatile boots. Thank you Carhartt 🤙

I've only had them less than a week, but here's my early impression of these boots. If I find any durability issues I'll edit in the future.First thing I will say is that they are a little stiff out of the box, but I still found them to be quite comfortable, more comfortable than most when first trying them on. I went for a half hour walk the first day just to test them out and break them in a little before I had to wear them to work the next day. Walk went great, felt fine afterwards. Wore them 8 hours a day for the next 3 days and had no issues regarding soreness or anything like that. I ordered a 9.5w and found that the length was good but the width was a little wide for me but not so wide that I couldn't make it up in the laces.The only negatives I have regarding these boots is that they make my feet sweat. I've been doing construction for 35 years and sweaty feet has never been an issue before. The second negative, and this is very specific. If you do a lot of stick welding or any spark producing work, the design and the stitching along the top of the toe will catch a lot of sparks, causing the stitches to wear out.

Got these august 23rd started using them on the 24th till now. Worst boot i’ve ever had. worse than the brunt’s i bought before these. entire bottom has come undone while taking them off. The soles suck i had to go buy other soles just to be able to use them. Do not recommend buying these.

I just moved to Seattle and needed something waterproof. I ordered Thorogood boots and was so disappointed. I sent them right back. Terrible fit. Super narrow. These had some mixed reviews online but for the price I figured I’d go for it. Very very happy with these Carhartt boots. Very comfy right out of the box. Waterproof as stated. They look sharp. I have wide feet and these boots are perfect. My wife liked them so much on me she had me order some for my son to wear to school. He picked the black soft toes. I have the brown steel toes. I water treated them. (The pics is before the treatment and have they original color) They have a rich brown color now. They look more like the redwing Briar tone. I swapped out the laces for black ones. I would highly recommend. I even ordered the 4” versions from them as a more casual option. I would prefer silver eyelets but that’s getting picky. Added a second pic with waterproof treatment applied. Breaking in nicely less than a week.

Just what we needed. Look very sharp.

Fits great. Love the look. They've been in heavy use for a month. Construction work. Holding up well.I'm more conscious of not being a"kicker" in them like I usually am (trying to snap off a screw with a kick, or Bend over a nail etc) as they don't have any type of toe cap on the outside.I wear them outside of work sometimes too because they are so comfortable.I told my wife yesterday I should have ordered 2 pair, one for work and one for keeping sharp.Will definately buy another pair when they need replacing.

Not worn for work yet but on first try they feel a little large even though i have wide feet
