LOVE them!
Best cat-related product on Amazon. These boxes are enormous, like a small bath tub. They're very well-built with strong, thick plastic. Indestructable. Plenty of space for accessories in the two storage areas on the side, and this is the only litter box we've found that's really comfortable for a very large (Maine Coon-type) cat to use. You can't go wrong with these.

Giant Litter Pan
It really is a good size, great if you have more than one cat. I use this and a standard large litter tray for my two cats, and they seem to be quite happy with the arrangement. The two pockets at the end are great for storing litter scoops and poop scoop bags.

Fantastic
Wow My 13 year old son opened this parcel, I asked him what is it? he said a cat bath tub, somewhat confused he brought it in and I was amazed at how big it was. Usually they say giant but are just large this is fantastic for multiple cats and very deep. its good that you have room for disinfectants and litter bags and all the other stuff you need, especially as I have indoor cats that just love to dig. Hopefully i won't have to do as much sweeping from now on.I've tried every cat litter tray on the market, i love van ness and deep litter trays and this one is well priced and certainly a good buy. easy to clean as its a simple design. If you have multiple cats this is a must. I also received in less than 24 hours which from amazon marketplae is fantastic.

This is the *best* multi-cat litter box, even if you use pine pellets!!!
I have been searching for the best litter box system for my three cat family. I just bought this giant box, and life just got A LOT easier! I use pine pellet litter, and have tried the Iris brand, large open top litter box with shield (had two downstairs and two up), and then tried the Arm & Hammer sifter box (made to sift pellet litter), and I then made a modified box, combing the two (see photos). While the sifting worked okay to save the good remaining pellet litter, it was messy, and hauling four (small) boxes outside to the trash before and after work each day was way too much work! Plus, the boxes are small for the cats to comfortably do what they need to do.Most cat health experts recommend one litter box per cat in home, plus an extra. Honestly, my cats don’t seem to care which box they use, and they tend to use the dirtiest one anyway, so I let go of that advice since we haven’t had any litter box drama, and I set up the new, Petmate Giant Litter Pan.Here’s how I maintain it with the pine pellets:I use one lightweight box (from the Arm & Hammer sifter box) that I use to take the soiled litter outside to the trash. I only need to take the giant litter pan outside to scrub clean once a week (maybe twice if needed). The side cubbies work well to hold a large metal scoop (I bought the CO-Z metal scoop just for this box), a garden shovel for removing the soiled sawdust, vinegar spray, and wipes. To clean daily, I move all litter to one side, and sift it with the large metal scoop. The sawdust and good remaining pellets are then separated (see pics) into two piles. I use the garden shovel to scoop out the sawdust and poop, into the smaller box to easily carry it to the outdoor trash. I then replenish the giant pan with clean pine litter to replace the soiled litter that was removed. Spot clean the sides of pan, if needed. I wear a mask while doing the sifting part (takes 5 min.), but this method is far less dusty than shaking four pans, using the Arm & Hammer sifter box. It sounds tedious, but it is far less time consuming, less cumbersome, and less work overall, than hauling four litter pans outside (while trying to not let cats slip outside too). I still have one box set up upstairs, but the workload, cleanliness, and ease of use with this giant new pan is purrrfect! The plastic is thick, heavy, and smooth, and should hold up against cats that love to scratch like crazy. My cats like that they have more space to turn around, scratch, and carry out healthy “bathroom” behaviors, with more than adequate space.A few pine pellet tips:The pine pellets do an excellent job to absorb urine (no wet puddles in box at all), and it totally neutralizes odor too. I only fill about 2 inches deep, since I scoop twice per day. A 40 pound bag of pine pellets (horse bedding) can be purchased at a local feed and garden store for as low as $8, up to $12.99. Call around for best prices. I store mine in a metal trash bin (from IKEA) next to the pan that holds 40 lbs. exactly. If you have more than three cats, I’d suggest two of these giant boxes.I hope this helps someone looking for a good litter box solution!

I've Found the Perfect Box for my large (and small) Cats.
I have one rather large cat, Tailgunner (nicknamed the Big Ol' White Cat by our vet) as well as 3 smaller cats. I was getting very frustrated with Gunner hanging over the side of the regular sized litter pan and pooping on the floor, so I looked for the largest open litterbox I could find. Seeing this litter pan and the good reviews it go, I decided to try it.Let me state that this box is huge....approximately 35" by 20" by 10 inches high and is very sturdy and well made. I set it up and added litter, and within a couple of minutes one of my other cats, Washboard, climbed in and peed and pooped. The pan is deep enough to avoid litter being tossed out when your cat digs, and large enough to accommodate a very large cat. It is very easy to clean, since there are no sharp corners to trap litter. I used a 15.4 lb box of Fresh Step Lightweight Simply Unscented litter, and it filled it to the perfect depth. The description says that it holds up to 30 lbs of litter, but I don't know if they mean conventional, regular clumping or lightweight clumping. There are 2 holders at the end of the litter box that are perfect for holding scoops, bags, cleaners and whatever other supplies you might want to keep close at hand.I n my opinion, this would also be perfect as a bed box for a mother cat and kittens, since it is large enough for them the stretch out and then kittens to roam, but the sides are tall enough to keep the kittens from falling out until the are big enough to be outside the box.I am more impressed with this pan for $22 than for others that I have bought for twice as much. If you have a cat or cats that tend to go outside the box, this is a great solution.

Best Huge Litter Box!
This is the largest and deepest litterbox I've ever used for a great price of $15.41 when I bought it.I rarely ever have to deal with pee stuck to the bottom unless my cat decides to dig that deep and when it sticks to side it's just barely, I just rub litter on the side with my scooper until it falls off.I like the storage pockets on the side but my cats kick litter into them sometimes and they don't go down as deep as the litter box itself. I only ever pick it up the sides of the actual litter box. Just a warning not to pick it up from the storage sides because I'm sure it'll break if you do, it's not meant to be picked up from there. The only things I don't like about it is that it only comes in the cream/beige shade which I'm not a big fan of. I also don't like that it curves in on one side. I think it might be to help pick it up more easily and not as easy to break but that's just a guess. It doesn't make it difficult to clean for me with the curve but I'm not sure for everyone else. The sides that you pick it up from are very large a sturdy "handles" that make it easier when it's so heavy.I have a large male cat that's too big for most litter boxes and accidentally poops outside of the litter box because he just sticks out from most. That rarely happens now, only when he poops in the corners sometimes. It's a really deep litterbox that I can fill up with a lot of litter so I don't have to clean it now but every 2 or 3 days and only a full cleaning very couple months. I only have 2 cats though so I'm not sure how it does for a larger cat household. It works for my small 4 lb female as well. Not sure how it would do with smaller cats or kittens and with cats that have short legs or disabilities. Overall I'd highly recommend this litterbox for the price and size, especially if you have large cats.

Good solution for my finicky cat
I have 3 cats and 7 litter pans ( I use clump litter) throughout the house. Two of my cats are fine using litter boxes and I rarely have trouble with them. However, my third cat, Stormy, is finicky. He HATES small litter pans, closed litter pans, litter pans where there is only one clump..... can't even begin to list the litters we have tried for him. Sadly he likes to pee outside of the boxes 90% of the time. When I saw these litter pans at PetSmart a year ago (MUCH cheaper here) I thought perhaps he would enjoy the size and be less finicky about waste. This box is HUGE; make sure you measure it out for the space you wish to place it. I would compare the length to the size of an average-large side table. To fill the entire box (about 2 inches deep) will take a 40 lb box of litter. We usually only refill every couple of months when it gets low and it works out for us since we use the emptied litter box for the waste. I enjoy the two side bins, they are a great size and allows me to place my scoop, dustbin, dust brush, and bags easily. Sometimes one of the cats will miss the edge of the box and pee into the bins but this is rare. This has helped Stormy pee inside the litter pan more often and he really seems to like digging deep into the litter to cover up his waste. I would say the box has reduced him from peeing outside of box by 50%. My other cats love these boxes and seem to prefer using them instead of the smaller ones. We now have 5 of these in the house: 1 basement, 3 main, and 2 upstairs. If your cat isn't as finicky about waste you could probably get away with cleaning it every 3 days. This will depend though on # of cats to pans, depth of litter, etc.Do NOT pick up this box when it has litter inside! Even when two people carry it by the ends this will crack the edges easily. They have very high edges, if you have an older cat you may want to consider making a little ramp in and out of pan. Make sure you measure where it will be placed!!! I can not stress enough how big these pans are in person. For those who have finicky cats I would also highly recommend Precious Cat Cat Attract Problem Cat Training Litter. We started using this litter six months ago and it has helped dramatically for him. He MIGHT pee outside of the box 10% of the time. To help with the cost we fill the bottom half of pan with our usual litter then add this on top.
