I Purchased This Product For My 12yr. Old Nephew Who Has A Eczema Which Flares Up Very Bad In The Summer! Since Using This Soap, He Hasn't Had Any Eczema Break-Outs And He Has Been Itching & Scratching His Self Until He Bleeds & Makes Scars On Him! He Loves This Soap & Likes The Smell!

I remember when I used to shave with Yardley shave cream and a BRUSH. That was in 1955, and I've been a fan of their products for years. But during "leaner" years I went to stuff like Dove and even Ivory, both of which dried my skin and smelled like a bad motel. II discovered San Francisco Soap Co. hard milled soap in 2000, and bought it for a few years, but at $6+ for a 2.5 ounce bar, it was ridiculous. I came here and searched for "hard milled" soap, found this, bought three bars, and after my wife and I used just two, I bought 20! The aroma is very mild and pleasant. It is "hard-milled" but that only means that all the air has been removed in manufacture: A 4.25 ounce bar lasts about 7-10 days! At a buck something per bar, that is a bargain! And the soap does a wonderful job of smoothing some rather rough skin (mine). Still oatmeal and almond (just tiny flakes as an exfoliant) does a wonderful job, so good that I'm thinking of trying the soap as a shaving cream. Great lather. I haven't tried any other scents, but I don't need to. I think I've found the soap I've been looking for for 40 years!

Ive been using this soap for a long time. I live in the desert so my skin always seemed dry and scaly. Since I have been using this soap I have seen a noticeable difference with the look and feel of my skin. It is moisturized, less dry and flaky thanks to the oatmeal exfoliation and softer. Although it is great for exfoliating, it is not too harsh to use every day and on sesitive skin.

I have mixed feelings about this soap. It feels nice and suds just the right amount. It doesn't dry out my skin as badly as most soap does, and I love the added coarse texture of the oatmeal grains. But, it smells very very strongly of almond extract. I don't plan on buying it again due to how extreme the smell is. Besides the scent, I like it though.

Ok, let's start of with scent, it is by far the best smelling soap I have ever had! My husband, my 6 year old daughter and me are obsessed with the scent. My daughter said she never wants a different soap ever again! We have very dry skin in the winter and this soap doesn't dry it out more. No, we still have to put on body butter after we get out of the shower but it is not drying out our skin. It makes you feel squeaky clean and the price is unbeatable! Love that there is no plastic waste and the little box got shredded up and thrown in the compost! I will most definitely order again and probably also give friends and family a bar or two for the holidays. Just try it out, you can't go wrong with this! If you like bitter almond scent, you will LOVE this soap!5 stars for sure!

If you love almond milk scent, you will be addicted to this soap! Smells soooo good. And leaves my skin soft and clean, but not too dry. Very happy with this product.

I used this product for two weeks twice daily as I shower twice daily. It appears to be great for sensitive skin, which I have, since I did not have any acne breakouts as a result of using it. My skin usually breaks out in acne from switching soaps, so I was very pleased that this soap did not cause this problem. I love the scent, but I'm not sure if it's worth the price I paid. It seemed a little expensive, but I know that these individually packaged soaps tend to be more expensive than other brands packaged in bulk quantity. I am still using the first bar of soap out of the two, and I have less than half of it remaining. So, it should last me at least another weeks at the rate of using it twice daily in the shower. I will use the two bars in maybe six weeks. There were only a few other things I didn't like: how heavy and bulky it was in the beginning (before it got smaller). I would have liked it to be lighter and flatter so it would be easier to rub on my body in the shower. Also, I did not feel it was exfoliating enough. I have used a similar soap in the past that seemed more exfoliating under my arms, which seemed cleaner after using the other brand. The product claimed "gently exfoliates," and I think it does this, but I would like a little more exfoliation.In the pictures, the first bar is the one I used for the past two week, and the second is the one I have not used.

The boxes for the soap looked like they had been sitting around someone's house for a while. They were all beat up and looked like they had gotten wet at one time. Then I open each box and one of the bars of soap was cut with 1/3 of the bar missing Yuck! Please don't sell old product as new.
