TEKTON 3855 8-Inch Sheet Metal Clamp
These are a combination of vice grips pliers and paddle-nose clamps. Typically they are used for clamping two pieces of sheet metal together while they are screwed or spot welded together. I, however, do a lot of work in the car wash industry. Loose joints ih the hinge bolts.
Hinge joints a little sloppy. Used for sheet metal work on residential trim work.

I bought this item for my father and was shipped and delivered quickly.It's a metal clamp just as the picture shows and it even came in the same red/black package/container that was shown in the images. I was very surprised by the amount of protective packaging the item was surrounded by inside the box Amazon sent me, it was basically those plastic air-filled bags surrounding the item and it came in a box much bigger than I expected.Anyway, that surprised me, item works, and I'm satisfied that it satisfied my father.

Does the job
The flats have ridges all around them as if they were sheared in a press. Had to file these ridges flat to avoid marring the aluminum I was shaping. Also, be aware that the flats do not sit flat to project surface when clamped. They are angled on small objects. Clamp did the job for me but it was a simple 30 second project to bend aluminum sheet meatal. Not 5 stars because of ridges on clamp flats.

Solid Tool
Only using these on sheet material but so far thay are great. Good clamping power and solid little pair of seamers!

Cheaply made
I only used these a handful of times on custom ductwork and there bent and are closing crocked.They are made fairly cheap as ductwork is very thin metal.I wouldn’t recommend these unless your only looking to use them on one or two jobs.
