Quiet and smooth ride
I have a 2009 VW Jetta that had 3 different brand tires on it and was making a whining noise at over 40 MPH. It was also shaking and pulling to the right even with correct tire pressure. I went shopping for tires in October and almost went with a cheap offbrand set of either Fullway or Summit. In November, right before Black Friday, I saw these on sale for 40% off which brought them down to close to the budget brand. I'm not sure how different they would have been but I do trust Goodyear brand more and believe the extra 20 or so per tire was worth it. I have a set of Goodyears on my Kia Soul that are now over a year and 10,000 miles old. They were rotated once and only needed air topped off once. They still ride and sound new. I also had a set of Michelins installed on my Audi 3 years ago that cost more than twice as much. I see no difference in the ride quality or longevity. I think these are the best tires for the money. They are high end quality and if you wait for a good sale, they are budget priced.

Great tire for money.
Love these tires. Great traction in the winter and hold the road well. I had just bought 4 for my last car and drove only 2000 mi. when I was hit broadside and totaled my car! I nearly cried as I had waited to get them for a while and dealt with lousy tires til I could afford decent tires. Only 2 good tires on new used car, planned on getting these and then I had a flat on 1 good one so I knew I was getting my tires earlier than expected. Great gas mileage since change too.

These went on the go pt A to B grocery getter -average driving use.
*Updated 10/05/2023* Over the last 3 years the price has definitely risen, the tread wear was not what I hoped for, & at tread height fail pt on all 4 tires before making 35,000 mi. Have my own tire machine so I know these tires from install to road conditions. When installing use a high pressure, & a no valve core type chuck, or (like many car tires) they won't easily seat to the bead. They are not bad on the road vs noise or handling. They were not hard to balance, & they have good wet road traction. They had great grip, & are good in the snow, but now going to an entirely different far less expensive touring tire.
