Beautiful
This thread is so beautiful in real life that the picture doesn’t do justice. It’s not as big as others and it’s a expensive, but it’s worth every Penny. The silk makes it shine so beautiful, I always mark or separate silk from wax, upholstery and regular thread. I use it for jewelry, stitching and final touches. Love love love it.

Silk makes a differrnce
I buy high quality clothes in silk, wool, linen and cotton. Using silk thread for the minor repairs I do makes a difference in usage and results. This is high quality thread

The smallest spool of thread
When these spools arrived, I kind of thought it was a joke because of how small they are - I guess I was expecting something that didn't look like it belonged in a miniature house. The color is quite rich and sewing with it has been a dream. I would have given 5 stars but I just don't think it's an economical choice if you need A LOT of it like I need.

Works and looks great
Not much more to say. It's strong thread and a great color.

Beautiful and well-made thread
It had been awhile since I last hand sewed anything, so I practiced first on a scrap of material and initially using an inexpensive thread. That thread kept shredding as I attempted to get it through the needle's eye. In sharp contrast, this silk thread went through the eye easily and the end showed no sign of fraying even when I finished my repair on my expensive item of clothing.

It's silk thread!
Does not take much thread to complete a repair. Silk is so strong. Never use anything but silk for my repair projects.

Great to work with
I’ve just been using it for ladder stitches, finishing stuff invisibly. It’s perfect and works so smoothly. Much less fuss.

Skinnier spool but nice silk thread
Smaller/thinner than the spool shown in the photo. Colour is pretty accurate if not just a little lighter in person which worked out well for me! Thread is quite strong but the one other brand of silk thread I have is stronger.

it just slip through cloth like through butter
100% silk thread is always such a giant leap above the rest. It's expensive, of course, but if you try it once, you will not be able to do without it. The feel is , well, silken. That is to say, it just slip through cloth like through butter. It never tangles or knots and the colours are brilliant because silk can take dye better that any other fibre. It is also strong and doesn't easily break. I say to myself, "I'm worth it." I think that if I choose to make something by hand, using the best of my talent and creativity, why would I even think of using lesser materials. A work is judged by it's weakest link, isn't it?
