Nice handle size
The clamps are very secure and easy to open, however, the handle is a bit short. Suitable for smaller projects and able to hold medium-weight material backgrounds. Very good for holding gels. They don't take a lot of space in a photography bag.

Good clips
They’re good clips. I bought them to clip a blanket onto a bench and have it now move too much/fall as we’re sitting. They do the job! However, the little orange ends sometimes fling off when taking the clips off, but it’s not that big a deal.

Orange tips pop off very easily
Not very happy with the durability of these clips. The orange tips easily pop off and some come out on their own. That creates a bit of a mess trying to hang a chromakey matte. You can snap the orange tips back in, but they eventually fall out again or pop out. This product definitely needs a redesign. The actual squeeze handles and spring mechanism themselves are really good, but the orange tips sink the product. I would pay more money for a better product.

Good Hold for Low Price
I got a photo background setup and used a "wrinkle-free" sheet for the field. The backdrop came with these MOUNTDOG spring clamps and some little clips with bungees attached. The little bungees did practically nothing. The MOUNTDOG spring clamps worked so well that I bought more in order to get the tension I needed on my sheet. They are strong enough that I, and old woman, can't open them with just one hand. However, I can keep it open in my hand once I have it opened. They also do not slip once I have them set. Highly recommend.

Good spring tension but the pads have a habit of breaking if you're not careful good for clamping even surfaces

these only have a 1.6” opening not 2” as advertised. orange tips will come off easily but strong spring

Didn't work for my stand . It says they are 4.5" but they are smaller than the 4" I got at another store
